Ruggerman Posted May 18, 2019 Share Posted May 18, 2019 I have playing this latest v5, and I have a group of troopers who are either Captains, Lieutenants. or Sargent's. I like the idea of promotion in the game, but having all senior officers is a stretch. What if the personal stats increase, but you will need to go through leadership training to reach higher rank, with some moral bonus on near by troops, as higher rank is obtained during combat. Also in X1 their was a medal system that added a bit of personal touch to each soldier, would be nice if that could make a return! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chris Posted May 18, 2019 Share Posted May 18, 2019 Yeah, the medal system will be coming back. It's already partially implemented, we just need to set it up. The rank structure isn't a bug, though - it's not broken, it just works differently from how you'd like it to work. If you want to discuss it then create a thread in the General Discussion forums.
