GrumpySage
I thought this had happened before, but I was not certain so didn't want to report it. This time I caught it. I'll try to explain what happened. http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/1547/toomanyap.png Soldier 6 was positioned (crouched) at the square where I have ordered him to go (77 AP cost). The LOS is still in effect there as well. I gave him a move order to move to his current spot, which would cost him 76 AP. The green path shows the route the game suggested and he took (it was only green most of the way down to the door, the rest of the tiles were red, as expected). While he was moving, I clicked on soldier 3, and right-clicked the door to open it. That is when I noticed that soldier 6 completed his move, spending more AP than he has (56). He even had 4 AP left, so I was even able to crouch with him afterwards. Soldier 3 has only spent 4 AP opening the door.
GrumpySage
I *think* this just happened in reverse. I was moving a soldier and to try and provoke the error above I selected another and rightclicked for him to turn (he had no AP left). The soldier that was moving stopped prematurely (I believe) and only has 1 AP left.
Chris
Thanks for the detailed description. I'll point the combat coder at the post to see if he can correct the issue.
GrumpySage
Let me know if I can provide any more information. I could imagine this bug might be hard to find.
