Reactorcore
What do you use to mod xml files? I'm personally using notepad++, but I somehow feel this is not efficient and there is an easier way of some sort. I tried opening the files with a MS Office 2003 Excel, but it either sometimes does not work at all and shows nothing, or gives a strange error message that I fear could break something if I save the file. What do you recommend to open these .xml files?

aajs
I am using excel for the easy edit xml as it allow you to colour and format the cells nicely to help you arrange them. You can then use functions like sort and spell check etc. However like reactocor I use notepad++ a lot because you can do find and replace in files, so if you wanted to create a new armour type but need the animations for you weapons, you can just copy all the folders from the other folder and use notepad ++ to edit all the thousands of lines in all the files in just a few seconds. I also found one other amazing tool that lets you rename files and folders based on patern matches. it is called FlexRename. This has saved me so much time. For editing Graphics I am just using Gimp cos Its free.
