Bibidibop
It could be very useful if there were a way to build, test, and save base designs without having to play the game itself.
Chris
For what purpose?
anotherdevil
what exactly would you be testing them with?
Bibidibop
The purpose is to run combat missions through different designs outside the game. That way a player can come with defense optimized designs without having had to spend money and days in the game to to wait and see how it turns out. Also, having a premade base designs would be handy for very rapid base setup.
Gorlom
Seems like a very special catering to theorycrafters. And it would become obsolete after the calculations and testing to come up with the optimal base is done. Im not sure other theorycrafters would bother once someone comes up with a base. Bibidibop would modding xenonauts to reduce buildtime/cost and increase ufoattacks on bases satisfy your request or are you after something else? Chris
Building construction times can be modded in the latest version. I imagine the beta will include a way to force a base defence mission too; we'll need it for testing purposes. B
