  1. After several hours of play I decided to quit, as I was getting the white triangle error and I didn't know the fix yet (I haven't had internet to verify the files there yet as it so happens), and when I did so the game crashed. Nothing happened for some time and when I tried to open the task manager it opened in the background. Sucks, but things happen, so I hard reset and when my computer turned back on the task manager opened. Little weird, but I started up the game again and played for a while, got the white triangles again, quit again, crash again, c+a+d again, task manager in background again, hard reset again, task manager opens on reset again. Wondering what might be up here, any information needed can be obtained and transmitted when I next gain internet for my laptop.
  2. Shields, when equipped, are held in the wrongest possible orientation: Horizontally, bisecting the soldier. When fired on by an alien in their front arc, they protect the solder from taking damage by crashing the game. output.log recording_4.rec
  3. Every time I send my dropship to attack an Alien Base it crashes, I tried on multiple save files, and it has no problem attacking crashed ships, only Alien Bases. It crashes during the loading screen after a couple of seconds. Has anybody else had this problem? I am using Windows 7. I have tried validating my game cache, there was nothing that needed to be redownloaded. Edit: Uploaded my save file, however this also happened in another save file (I just fast forwarded a fresh game until the bases started spawning to test it again). herpderp.sav herpderp.sav
  4. So there is this weird problem that my game immediately crashes when I hit the "play game" button in the launcher ONLY when I selected the 1080p (which is the native resolution of my monitor.) But the game runs perfectly fine when I run it at any other resolution. I've tried searching for a solution but I couldn't find one. Here is the list of things that I've already tried. - Verify game files via steam. - Reinstalling the game. - Running at windows 8, windows 7, windows XP compatibility mode (I am running windows 10 by the way.) - Running the game windowed or not windowed. - Running the game using "LauncherFix.bat" If I'm missing any possible fix, please tell me. I want to play this game on 1080p if possible
  5. When moving a second soldier to another (already moving) soldier's destination tile, the game will crash. recording_3.rec recording_4.rec
  6. I have tried all the methods provided and none works. 1. Restart Computer 2. Delete & Reinstall 3. Win 7 Compatibility Mode 4. Compatibility branch I have no idea what I should do now... Any suggestions? dxdiag on pastebin if needed http://pastebin.com/KmQbjapB
  7. Hi, i've been playing Xenonauts for like a day and a half. I came to this forum to check out mods and stuff like that. I installed Skitso's Opressive UI Mod and Femonauts. I installed them correctly, played for and hour and then quitted the game. Then, when i tried to get in the game again, it reaches the ''main'' screen (oftenly) and then crashes. Some times it doesn't even get to that point. I don't know why this happens, so if you can help me, i'll be very happy. Thanks
  8. Easily reproducible crash: - Play ground combat, - let one of your team members get hit which puts him on ground - load state before he get grounded - win fight - from globe view try access your soldiers status. (it is possible that not all steps are required or can be simpler achieved, but this is my repro steps) Note: Loading game after restart doesn't have this problem. Best regards, Luiner
  9. Hello, I can't load any of these savefile. It's crash the game when it's load. Also I can't reload my rocketlauncher man before the file got corrupt. 11. I've had the game on steam for a bit, but only after the game crashed about five minutes ago have any attempts for me to load the game ended in an unavoidable crash. Is this a well known glitch? I've not spent much time on the forums.
  12. Description: Reproducible CTD on hitting the enemy with the sniper rifle while shooting from second floor. Tried on two different enemies in different turns. UPD: Shooting/killing standing sebillian later hasn't produced CTD. Reproduction steps: Select sniper (1), shoot the sebillian (with the most accurate mode). 13. I'm not sure what version I have; I know mine is more stable than the experimental build. Anyway, my game always crashes when I finish or save a terror mission. Has anyone had this problem before and fixed it? If so, I'd like not only to know how to fix this problem, but also to understand why it happened. Thanks for the help! PS if the specific level and gameplay helps, I use a lot of smoke and stun grenades, and I was fighting in London.
  14. I found this bug : When a soldier from behind cover throws a grenade lit if this hits the coverage the game crashes every time. Sorry for my bad English In italian Quando un soldato da dietro una copertura lancia una granata illuminate se questa colpisce la copertura il gioco và in crash
  15. can't attach savegame because I have no permission to do that on this forum and I am not going to use 3rd party file sharing services because of this stupid obstacle so just text: shot down lone Landing ship at middle east tile set (central Africa on globe), I have shot it on second attempt (first wave has damaged it to ~85%, then I flew back for ammo reload and shot it on second occasion) and game crashes each time I am trying to enter battlefield, I have not even made it to the briefing screen. I am at JAN 1970, maybe some new alien species had to be there?
  16. For some reason today xenonauts keeps crashing every time I try to do ground combat in the loading screen also when I have it on the max to speed up time it freezes and I can not close it out.
  17. So what did I do to try and find a way around !? Tried different base, different empty hangar .. Made sure more then enough building materials were available. Decommisioned every single plane in one base in favor of 1 to be build Corsair .. Everything to no avail .. Again frustrating and a clear reminded why not to get to excited about a game when still in beta :-P The hourse and joy I loose in this way are killing my mood.
  18. (First of all i'm sorry for my english) I'm playing Xenonauts on Steam and, apparently randomly when I try to load a previous save it crash to windows. no matter if the save is on battleground, geoscape, a quicksave or a manual save, on something like 50% of them the game crash (I still have the savefile if necessary) as I said, sorry for my english I hope that you could understand Thanks
  19. Had a mission against a scout on icy terrain in northern europe and game crashed after my 8 90TU veterans started throwing 3 flares each in the first 3 turns. Not sure if it's the volume of flares that crashed the game or if it hit some kind of crashy terrain. I'm betting on the former. Game crashed as soon as flare landed.

  24. Attempt to create new role\loadup cause game crash, as soon as you press "OK" after name define.
  25. When throwing a satchel charge somewhere, followed by a grenade, rocket, some explosion in the environment or a second charge, will cause the game to freeze. Throwing 2 charges at the same spot will cause the game to freeze up on the start of the next turn. I've been able to reproduce this in any battle. Other objects that explode in the map (barrels, power cores, etc) don't cause this problem.
