Hey guys, I'm new around this forum and I have been doing some searching and I can't find any mods that give females combat sprites, is there not one in existence?

I recall at some point there was a way to remove female soldiers by editing a config file. Is this still possible? And if so could someone let me know what the file is called and what I need to modify? Thanks.

I think there are way too many female soldiers. I would keep them around 10%.

[list=]3 of my female soldiers are the strongest soldiers of my personnel. But none of them looks like russian powerlifter. I don't like female so strong in my team. Don't think this is realistic. So many female (if at all!) shouldn't be stronger than male.

I love my women, please don't get me wrong, but I like to get into the mood of the game and to have 3/4 of my 1979 squad be women seems off. Especially when they are from units which even to this day do not allow women (Russian Spetsnaz, Navy Seals, etc) I know females were just added, and work was just done on their art and maybe even voices later, and I know I might get some flack on this post for other reasons, but please put a small option tucked away in some corner to toggle male only squads for us historical people! This way everyone wins. Just bought the game today and think its great so far, keep up the good work! Thanks for reading. -
... should be roughly, I'd say, roughly equal to, if maybe a little higher, the rate of female soldiers in 1979. Rationale: Such an anachronism for it to be 50/50, as it appears to be by default. This should also be freely adjusted in the final build through the options menu. This is, of course, a minor edit.

Female should have a hit avoidance (dex) And male should be able to carry more weaponry / armor

Are those moddable? And by that I mean ratio of which type of soldier you're likely to get. From which country, which sex ,etc... ATM it looks like the male/female ratio is 50/50. I want to change that. Possibly even the specific stat range for each sex. Also, possibly ratios of different nationalities.

Now, i know its many threads discussing this. But i didnt want my question to drown in them. Cause i am sincerely curious! Why is it so important for many players with female soldiers? Dont get me wrong, i am in noway opposed to the idea of female soldiers. But Chris has many times stated this is a very work heavy/time consuming thing, for low gain. Perhaps its not a good comparison but if you could choose between one extra tileset instead, or a bigger research tree wouldnt you go for this instead? Myself i wont complain at all about female troops, BUT i would choose Goldhawks time to go on other game mechanics than "chicks with guns" anyday in the week. I mean its not an equality statement. Its a computer game. Is it just because old X-Com had it? How about som Sebillian females also? You would like that. Wouldnt you? You perverts. Cheers!

Haven't checked in in a long time, and I had a question. I know it was addressed a while back, about them not going to make Female soldiers due to having to re-model everything, but I'd like to know if the stance has changed.
