  3. Yer thanks for that, Sentelin... I've been toying with merging mods all week, with mixed results. I'm in the process now of going with - XNT + Kabill Random Map Pack and trying XB without strings.xml... See if this works... P.S. If I leave the strings.xml out, what do I miss out on?

  5. Hi TD Thanks for a GREAT mod! I'm running this mod with a stable combo of other mods... One thing, I've had no joy using the 'Breaching Charge'. Nothing I try makes it work. I'm not that far into the game and only tried it on Light/Scout UFO's. Any thoughts? Thanks Gengis Dhen

  7. Hey Mikhail Got Magnum-nauts to work! I'm running with this + Jsleezys Fighter and Armour's packs together! The Fighter sound pack hasn't worked properly yet but will tweak and try more combos later today... Will post results...
  8. Do we want a WH40K mod? I can see: Various worlds created. If the world map can be changed. Various tech trees in squads. Starting as a Planetary Defence Force and ending with Space Marines/Terminators. One could even start out as a low tech gang... Various enemies/Races/Other Chapters. Various vehicles, aircraft. Various scenarios. Take your (saved) force to the next world! Here is the 1st vote by me!!!

  10. Got it, thanks Mikhail Ragulin. Just re-installing again... After my last test with the combos, Steam had left some files still installed so all my new testing was false so back to the drawing board... Will post results...

  12. What do I want? Well - A fuller, more polished game. Cosmetics: Deeper, richer, more polished - not game changing. Soldiers: More RPG element. Slower ranking as not wanting squads of Colonels/Generals. Guns/Equipment: Lots! Aircraft: More planes and maybe attack/escort helicopters. Experience gaining. Assault vehicles: Manned and experience gaining. Tactical maps: Lots of variety. Different levels/heights of ground. Military maps, bunkers, foxholes, trenches, towers, etc. 2 story plus buildings. Angled crashed UFO's. Playable shallow water. This is a start guys

  15. Hi kabill I've seen your name a lot on this forum and respect your input However, apart from the obvious combos it's not proving that easy to combine to what I want. One mod that appeals - Magnum-nauts is I believe knocking out the other mods. This is a shame as it seems to be the only mod with a whole bunch of new weapons - which I want. Any thoughts? Could you 'flesh out' your 'By Our Powers Combined' mod pack?
  16. I'm in the process of combining different mods. I've had mixed results so far with a lot of CTD's resulting in full game re-installs. I will post mine when I have what I want to play with and is stable... Please help me and others by posting your mod combos.
