No. As it stands now, if you don't have coverage on a region by the end of month 2 you have lost it. If I lose a region, it should be because I screwed up, or I had to make a hard decision about saving one region and sacrificing another. Right now, I lose regions because I didn't put my first base nearby and there is nothing I can do to stop it.

Why would you ever take a Hunter scout vehicle?

Read your infantryman's uplifting primer again soldier. The MG hunter can hold 120 rounds. Also, in my experience they always survive at least 2 shots. I've have one take two bursts and keep on trucking. -
The game is not officially "released" yet. This is the release version yes, but the official release will happen sometime later in the month.

On a recent mission I attempted to pick up the corpse of one of my fallen soldiers and move him. I moved the soldier carrying the corpse and suddenly two more corpses popped up where the first one originally was. Here is the savegame: [ATTACH]4062[/ATTACH] Notice klara is carrying a body and there are two more at her feet, surpassing the six soldier limit with a hunter and chinook. Just encountered this tonight. A soldier wearing jackal armor got shot, but survived the mission seriously wounded. He was out of action for a little over a week. When he returned he was no longer wearing jackal armor, and the armor was not in my stores. His loadout was the default "wounded soldier" loadout of an assault rifle with 2 magazines. Perhaps some reports of weapons and armor disappearing have to do with this?

I have never been able to throw grenades over shipping containers for sure. Have never tried on hedgerows, too scared.

Also the recovery time, takes your men out of action for a few waves. Is that really worth 1 bravery? -
It should be in storage. If it is not there is something wrong. Are you running any mods?

The most recent changes have upped difficulty somewhat. Despite the intention of "smoothing" the difficulty curve. I play on veteran difficulty. I've seen totals as high as -487,000$ out of a total funding of a little over 3 mil for the FIRST month. That is taking into account shooting down and clearing FIVE UFOs. Basically as it stands now, if you don't get coverage on a region by the end of month 2, you have lost it. Funding hits need to be toned down to 11,000-16,000 per event for scouts, as it stands now I have seen it go as high as 20,000. Airliner shot down events should not exceed 20,000.

"Setting default equipment" to have a soldier wearing armor might be the culprit. When they arrive they are auto-equipped with armor.

Yes, it has been reported that aliens sometimes teleport through doors instead of opening them. The AI programmer said he would take a look at it but he has not made any official announcement about this problem yet.

Using explosives while dead bodies are around seems to destroy the armors and weapons lying on the ground.

Thanks for considering my arguments in the balance thread chris. Getting a base up with 1 radar now costs 750k instead of 1.1 mil. However a base with three radars is now about the same as an old base with three radars. A pretty smart way to make starting bases easier but finishing them just as costly. I tip my hat to you sir.

Don't try throwing grenades over 100% blocking tiles. I don't think you can for any of them.
