  1. Because by using a Window who's internal dimensions match your screen exactly (1920x1080 in my case) and a little script, you can force any windowed game into windowed borderless. But setting it windowed at 1920x1080 on a 1920x1080 forces it into full screen instead, so you're forced to either run in a smaller window to run windowed or in full screen. It would be even better if we got a Windowed full screen option in the game, but at least don't prevent us from running in windowed full screen through other means.

Strangely enough, I've had no problems with this. Perhaps you've found a bug? Check the threads to see if it's been reported and if it hasn't, make a new thread for it following the guidelines posted here. 5. Have I said 'known bug' enough times already? I didn't think so. 6. If the aliens in question are Androns, this is a known bug. Or perhaps a feature, I'm not sure.

Can't seem to post an attachment, so I uploaded the relevant save file to Dropbox at https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10182932/Autosave3.sav One of my soldiers is stuck on the Charlie, shows as unassigned in all menus except the aircraft itself. Nobody was injured on my side during the base defense that preceded this save by a few hours but the soldier who's now stuck on the Charlie was injured before the base defense started and then participated in the base defense. Try move the soldier on the aircraft menu causes a crash too. Note: This save is from the experimental build, not the stable.
  4. Standard procedure for clearing a room IRL still is to lead with a grenade. When ROE and the structural integrity of the building allows, that will be a frag grenade. As for that poor bench, a steel construction will probably survive a grenade. Any lesser materials or combinations (Steel and wood I see a lot around here) will have the weaker material blown apart. As for grenades vs rockets, rockets carry a lot more explosives across a much bigger distance. Which is why you only get a couple of shots. If you intend to go around using rockets a lot (As I currently do), set up 2 fireteams with 2 riflemen, an MG and a rocket launcher each. Give the riflemen 2 or 3 rockets in their backpack. That should get you upwards of 10 shots per rocket launcher. If you manage to go through all that in a mission you might want to consider actually finding the aliens before you start shooting instead of trying to just level the entire map.
  5. You'll find that all RPG type weapons are what is known as hard launch and typically do not have any kind of sustainer motor. This means that they burn all their propellant inside the launch tube in one go and are ballistic weapons from the moment they exit that tube in the same way a normal gun's bullet is. The only difference is that since propellant gas goes out the rear end of the tube the RPG has (almost) no recoil. If the motor was still running when it exits the tube, the rocket exhaust would injure and possibly kill the operator and while a sustainer motor can (and with most ATGMs does) ignite a safe distance away from the operator to extend a projectile's range, a guidance system is mandatory on such a design lest the slightest inaccuracy cause your rocket to go wildly off target because of the sustainer motor.
