This provides a thought! Do i want all of my soldiers to die before the endgame?! Or do I want to live thorough the middle game 0.o Or do you want to be mean and bring in pvts solely for the purpose of the improved cancer giving flares :3 -
I dont even think they would go as far to use biochemicals. Just do some math and hurl asteroids at us... But now this is becoming a suspension of disbelief fight But our chinook can be shot down. Very easily I might add. Hmmm briefed before hand. Life say all those missions in world war 1 and 2 that were planned months in advance.... Yeah I totally see your point. Now lets say Xenonauts is like swat or crs or whatever. They are supposed to respond quickly in the event of alien incursions. And it isnt like they can pull up the lay of the land because of lots of barriers. (including but not limited to language barriers, bureaucracy, stupidity, etc, etc) Wintermist: There have been too many threads about fow. this isnt even the third one Nother ever changes. It is just all for the ego stroking and luls.

I think an upgrade to flares would be cool. Blablabla. By adding low grade elenium to the flares we have increased light output by a lot. -
No. One of the first satellites "capable" of this would be the Corona. And that ejected containers with photos from space to the atmosphere. By the time the photo was collected the mission would be over. Does any one know the capabilities of spy satellites during the 80s And I assume the aliens would have gotten rid of the space junk (including satellites) that were in the way to entering our beloved atmoshpere.

I think one problem is that people insist on calling them spec ops therefor they are allready perfect. I have abstracted this away. The aliens bombarded many military base killing most special operations soldiers therefor the people I get still need improvement. And since this is an alien incursion the soldiers are extremely busy back at base so no treadmills or shooting ranges for them -
My most memorable moment would probably be the time time in every play through I open up the smallest ufo and all the sectiods are there 0.0

You have to many soldiers in jackal armor from what I think I am reading. Throwing bodies at the problem is not a good solution. You need to be tactically awesome. If jackal armor restricts sight then maybe have a few soldiers in basic armor to spot for them. (you should btw) There are plenty of tactical choices but our definitions may differ so please clarify. Maybe you need to train more rookies up early game. Keep track of how many people your losing because you seem to be having trouble in areas I hae 0 problems with. It is not necessary to win all the missions. After rereading te bottom few paragraph I dont see the problem and how it relates to xenonauts. Please spell it out for me? thanks fo reading.

You used aggressive work styling not really a problem with everyone else who isnt me. I feel spamming flares is a decent thing... You always lose say 30 TUs and if you get in a fight... Well you dont have 30 TUs for firing or running. I would not like 2-3 flares per unit. Either give me limitless flares or let me fill backpacks with them at base 0.0 -

I agree that throwing flares is to high a cost but could you provide feedback and advice so that we can make thi early access game better in terms of balance and game play. I imagine eventually the devs will get around to this issue but until then other forumites will shoot off ideas. In case you are from the steam forum and thus are a poisonous toxic influence here are some ways to be productive about this blatant balancing error. Hello. I Think the TU cost of throwing objects is too high and does not benefit game play. Having to pent all of our soldiers small amount of TUs to throw a grenade that may not even do anything seems like a bug and/or a feature you have not got around to balancing yet. I believe reducing the TU cost of throwing flares should be lowered to 20 and TU cost of throwing grenades lowered to 30. Thank you for reading. Now is the part where the community can help. Xenonauts is easy to mod so you may be able to change this your self. I will refer to the forumites with green names. -

Chain locking is a bug. It will be patched out. Are they overpowered or do you need to adjust your playstyle. Were the condor and foxtrot out alone? cuz if they are you were asking for it..... Did you send them out while fighter squads were prowling. I believe this could help the community if you changed the OP the answer these questions. 1. What difficulty were you on. 2. What version are you on. 3. How many alien fighter squads were there. 4. How often do they spawn. 5. Are they heavy fighters or normal ones.

I dont like how fow looks. the diagonal tiles bother me. I can see inside the corvette through the door, but the aliens need to open it in order to fire.

I like free money....... I need free money....... But without being far into the game.... I don't sell them cuz I believe they will be used for better aircraft. *pluggs ears. don't correct me cuz I'm never coming back. Ya know spoilers are bad.
