  1. I had this occur, I was able to kill the Alien by getting within range with sniper and just kept trying to shoot him, did eventually. It looked like my bullets were going through the UFO? LOL
  2. Think this occurred to me however last Alien died via FIRE at UFO. Upon its turn. Could still move around via mouse but not press anything, even fire was going still. Seems the game just didn't realise the turn of the Alien ends when its dead so soon? Perhaps it dies AFTER checks are made for such things?
  3. There is a situation now where a alien died in a fire and thus unable to complete its move. Seems game does not want to pass and doesn't identify that the alien is dead, perhaps alien was last one? Will see if times out. (No go, forced quit game) This bug occurred when UFO was on fire and aliens were inside (dying) and they died at start of their turn. Computer does not know what to do it seems so sits waiting.

  6. I might mention that I am running the game at 1600-1200 res and the text appears too big in parts and overlaps each other. Perhaps the scaling with resolution is a little out (I use to play at 1080p but don't have a screen that does that atm). I will post link to the first 4+ images showing font/text errors, be sure to look at them closely as there are some with two errors each shot. I hope this helps and can be fixed quickly in a hotfix. These are not game breaking errors.   7. I can't even get it to install via Desura atm, It just fails connection eventually. Even tried moving the files and starting again. Been that way since V13+
  8. Yes 4 days to get v14 out is a bit tough. It all comes down to how much head-scratching goes on. Hopefully not too much.
  9. Could implement tile flipping. So angles of 90 deg can be looked at (still not 3d). Since the game has most tiles for each side of buildings etc, others can be flipped to account for the change of view direction.,
  10. Such behaviour would be best for when a civilian panics, such as after being shot at or getting too close to a alien or something.
  11. In times of great panic such as aliens killing everyone in horrible fashion, some civilians may consider a burning building a acceptable place to hide. Considering the situation.
  12. I saw a Andron walk through a wall, heard a crumble too. I was like, hmm interesting. As it was a supermarket wall and one of my guys was in there thinking he was safe. Turns out Androns are not very smart and tend to just walk into rooms and do nothing, shotgun sorted them out.
  13. I would get a hold of another pc (put files on disc) then try extracting with another pc. See what happens. If it extracts fine then, well you may need to consult a PC professional
  14. Well the developers swear they didn't deviate at all except to make something better. The demo people are playing of it? is a rail preview apparently. I do know that you only have 1 base, which I guess in the future set world that is ok and understandable. The base building has more depth supposedly thus why they kept it to 1 base. Time will tell.
  15. I would use Desura. Not sure if anyone else has had issues with the zip files.
  16. Shields will definitely be the go for breaching into larger Alien vessels as you know the second you step through that front slider/door the aliens will be all over your guy. However I would like to point out that I don't think RIOT shields will be that good, likely make it so they melt/break after being hit couple times with plasma! Perhaps better combat shields can be researched later on?
  17. This title is expected to be released on Oct 9th this year, likely well ahead of Xenonauts. It looks quite good, am guessing Xenonauts will be a Xmas or mid-next year release so it will tie us over till then. I think the two games are different enough to not distract customers away from each other.
  18. just use a image depot site and hotlink it. Also I encountered this last night, once you kill this shadow alien it does become visible at least.
  19. you can overlay a texture on top I guess. Noise so to speak to make it look like weather debris. Ultimately the rain would be easiest as you can have a texture animate with rain drops hitting surface and dissipation, then repeat.
  20. The sound bug isn't consistent and I believe it only happens on the Terror Mission that glitches out and has no buildings. I could be wrong as only had it occur couple times so far. I took a few screenshots last night of the tile order issue and it also happens at doors, some windows, and a few other places. Will post up a image sometime.
  21. Has happened once for me or so. However it doesn't occur all the time.
  22. So yeah. Save with Base on map and its CTD, save-game is also corrupt. Also tile order problems exist around most windows/doors/etc... Am sure everyone knows about those.
  23. Maybe take a screenshot? Perhaps a new breed of alien
