  1. To clarify the lingering corruption issue: 1.) Made the change with Xenonauts closed 2.) Open the game 3.) Loaded a pre-fix save a.) These will crash given enough time 4.) Before it can crash, start a new game 5.) These games will usually crash as quickly as any other So, there's some variable that remains stored - despite the fix - when the bad saves are loaded first. There might be a second piece to this puzzle that the fix avoids? I had loaded old working saves, then started a new game without exiting This is all completely avoided when you simply go straight into a new game with the fix in place.
  2. I already posted this in that thread, but I'll repost here: After some more playing, it seems that this fix only works after starting a completely new game after completely closing out of the Xenonauts program. It did not work for old saves, or for new games started in the same session of playing 'corrupted' saves.

  4. I don't know what else to call this. So the ground tile for the alien is in the west corner of the map. I was able to kill the alien at his apparent sprite location though.
  5. I've had it with Sebillian (Bare), Sebillian (Black Armor), and Caesan (Blue Shirt). I haven't been able to get any further in my games to find out if it happens with others.
  6. My auto-saves stop updating after the first time that I load a game.
  7. Symptoms of Suppression include: - Cowering and Crouching - Being labeled with a Superman "S" - Wanting to "End the GAME" In extreme cases, CTD has been reported. Ask your local Xenonaut about Suppression.
  8. Sorry. For some reason, I thought your two posts were made by different people. Tried this for the Suppressed Alien Death Syndrome, to no avail
  9. My burst fire line looks similar to others in the weapons file. Can you post up your code?
  10. I can't tell if it is killing them or not. It always crashes before the bullet reaches for me.
  11. I'm beginning to wonder if this is related to the suppression problem. All other times that I've encountered, the shot would have conceivably caused suppression when the program crashed. Was the soldier close to the alien? Was the M-16 on burst fire?
  12. Same And upon playing more, the formerly working saves are now broken.
  13. I've picked up corpses before to see if the game would give me anything extra. It doesn't
  14. UPDATE: MG will have a hit percentage, sometimes, but will not restore the percentage for other weapons, even on the same Xenonaut
  15. Here's the screen shot: Of note, once an alien loses their hit percentage, they lose it for all attacking Xenonauts, and it stays that way until death.
  16. Seems to be a pretty random bug, and occurs across all sprites (Species, Weapons, Facing). Sometimes the hit percentage is there, and sometimes not. Here's a screen shot: UPDATE: I have now encountered a circumstance with a Ceasen where my hit percent is "20912%"
  17. I had this problem trying to load an autosave in regular mode, without having the previous game crash.
  18. I can confirm this. I didn't even think of it as a bug, just a point of strategy like you said.
  19. Does target mode still persist if you hit [Esc]?
  20. South or SouthEast Weapon was either the Plasma Rifle, or the Heavy-version. It's pictured in the original post.
  21. Upon killing a Sebillian Guard, he turned into the death animation for a Ceasen, and the corpse on the map remains a Ceasen. In the screenshot, you can see that it was a Sebillian Guard that died, but you can see the Ceasen corpse on the ground. This only happened with the one Sebillian Guard, I killed at least three more on the map. Other circumstances: - First Corvette that made RADAR contact, shot down with 3 F-17s, four sidewinders and a ton of Autocannon - Third Sebillian Guard killed was the magic man. - Shot him dead with a Assualt rifle fire from more than one Xenonaut Not sure why he "turned", there was nothing particularly special about him.
