  1. That's right, in XCOM:EU, even with the best armor you could die with one plasma rifle shot.

Talking about base defense weapons (turrets/missile): I think that ( for the purpose of making people invest on them) if a base has little defense, when it get attacked by the aliens, the number of aliens in combat should be higher than a base with high defenses. If the base has high defense system, when the aliens attack, their numbers should be considerably lower.
  4. Bit off topic, but I hope that they balance the game in a way that we are forced to use these normal/traditional weapons for a long time before being able to research/produce energy weapons... The way it is now, in a couple of hours you already have the laser weapons.
  5. I thought about it too, was gonna post a thread in the sugestion forum about it... Don't know if it's possible at this stage of development, but I would love to see flamethrowers in the game, come on!! Classic way to kill aliens!!!

  8. Hi! I have been playing version 1.5, really digging it!! I downloaded the latest version 2.0q, but it's so buggy that makes the game unplayable. Can't wait for the 'R'! From what I could check on "Q", there were a lot of improvements (more items, food, weapons, better graphics, more "moodles"...). I was checking the PZ wiki, I found out that they cut the water supply of the city after the 5th day, so you have to stock a lot of water to be able to survive (unless you wanna risk a trip to the woods to find the well). I also was trying to memorize the recipes!! This is really cool and I think that they will add a lot of new recipe and items continuously.

  15. You're absolutely right, I did not pay attention to this... So, we gonna have different types of UFO's for each class, that's good! LOL! Let's hope so!!!
  16. Hi, Well, from what I can tell, it seems that the types of UFO's are limited to: Very Small Small Medium Large Very Large Only 5??? Well, 4, because the fighters do not generate crash sites... They should include more UFO's IMO. I remember the earlier UFO's on X-Com were those really small single seat scouts, usually with 1 sectoid on them. There were UFO's with 2 floors as well (the medium ones).
  17. WOw, + 20 average???? I never experienced this, but the aliens seems to have fled for some reason (maybe a justin bieber show was about to happen in the city?? lol)
  18. This feature is buggy. It's a pain in the ass to change the firing mode from single to burst (or vice versa). You keep clicking on the icon but the firing mode doesn't change. The way I discovered to make it work was clicking on another soldier and trying to change the firing mode (wich wouldn't change) then come back to the previous soldier I was trying to change and it was changed already. And if you choose single or burst for one character, it seems to affect all soldiers.
  19. Also, they should improve civilians AI. Come on, it's so silly when they just run around in circles or towards the aliens... I would never run to the arms of a sebilian.
