Ranking systems in forum software are just arbitrary designations based on the number of posts a user has made. Exception would be Moderator, Super Moderator or Administrator which are specific roles, the rest is basically meaningless junk unless customised for a purpose. The system here is standard in all IPB Forum software so doesn't mean anything special.

You could fit this in nicely with a GUI that makes it feel like you are quickly viewing some info sent from base to a tablet like device so you keep the feeling of being immersed in battle.

Love this idea and fully support it, I play a lot of Jagged Alliance Back in Action and the ability for my sniper to go prone is a massive aid in combat when in the right spot that I would love to have in Xenonauts 2, plus the boost in stability helps with the head shots.

Happily backed and damn glad to see this is coming together so nicely, X1 was fantastic and everything I have seen so far makes me love the Look and Feel of X2 so far. Original XCOM games were my life on Amiga when they first came out and X1 just felt perfect after such a long wait for something like it. You guys are Awesome!
