LOL when was the last time you bought a game that was in it's finished state?? Seriously games are never complete on release anymore. Even Tripple A titles like battlefield 3 (AKA battlefield 4 beta) are far from finished on release. Why does it matter if you don't buy unfinished games?? Please stop trying to poke holes in things. Go ask any dev team when their game is going to be released before it has even hit beta, you will get a big...................

It's not about purchasing a full game, I think you know what i'm going to say but here goes anyway, it's about supporting the development stages and making it a better finished product. It has worked for so many other titles. Look at minecraft, that fucker was always being put back, same as dayz (Obviously dayz is in a different league but you catch my drift). With indi games, having dates pushed back is nearly always a good thing. On the other hand maybe it's a good thing you aren't part of the alpha, it takes more than just being negative to give good feedback that may help polish the game.

1.75 would be very incomplete as it wouold be well over a year out of date on the other hand 17.52 is looking fantastic. Have a look on closetyetis youtube account, and you can see it in all it's 1080p glory, or maybe pre order the game and play it for yourself. There are lots of reasons why the game got pushed back, and there has been allot of new stuff incorporated since last year. I am truly buzzing for this game.

So would it work if someone sent me their units folder or just all the cos there is now way of finding out which particular one it is causing issues, cos as soon as the error comes up I get locked out of winrar until I click try again or cancel. I don't know if it will work but I am willing to try anything instead of re downloading the whole thing.

This xcom mod you used to play.... which one was it? Cos I have installed nearly all of them. Do you mean the random terrain mod (or something) cos I didn't think that allowed underwater missions on xcom EU. Or are you talking about adding the tiles form EU into TFTD so the land missions would be like EU. I know when the open xcom guys did the updated terror mission for EU that used some of the TFTD files ( take a look http://www.strategycore.co.uk/forums/topic/9389-ufo-terrain-mod/)

Hi I started to explain in another thread of mine but in an attempt to grab some more attention (and help) I thought I would start a new thead. Co so I get to the file called singleshoot_se.png and it pops up with and I have to cancel the extraction. Also spend 3 hours downloading and failing the install at 98% though desura last night. So I left the 3 hour zip to download while I slept so you can imagine I really don't want to have to DL it again. If it is a case of that one file being damaged could I just replace it if I can find where it lives (and if someone can send it)I really hope this issue can be resolved. I had a look on the forum and can't find anyone else with the same error. ALSO The zip archive I have downloaded.... does rinning the xenonauts.exe file install the game or just run the game. Anyway this issue has made my moral drop and I am on the verge of panicking. (My bravery score was never that good)

Well I'm in the middle of verifying and installing the missing ones but if you think that is gonna do it again, do you reckon I should abort with 0 units inside craft??

Right it got to 98% and stopped. If I try to run it it asks me if I want to overwrite the files and install the missing ones etc?? Although I can run the game thought the windows explorer. WTF.

Still installing...... it says 27 mins but every 1 minute is taking 3. The install is also battering my CPU usage. I'm sure it will be well worth the wait.

Waiting for it to DL, so I was wondering how I activate the subscription to the forum??? Maybe the info has not been dished out to me yet but I am dying to know what's in the subs only part of the forum?????? Any help or guidance would be received with 70TU's

I was talking to some chap online the other day about xcom on PS1 and he said the same thing. Apparently it had a gamebreaker. Q&A can't have been arsed to try and complete the game before letting it hit the shelves. There was probably no debug tools for them either when it was ported over so they just thought fuck it.

Deffo gotta throw in the AC-130 for 8 killstreak, and maybe a hot plasma airstrike. Oooorr maybe even some death streaks..... and klan tags... AND MLG!!
