I do play PC honest, it's just the old girls A bit messed up right now and I need to pay to get certain vital organs replaced before I can get going again. So for now i'm using a single core laptop with a built in ATI200 special graphics card, that wont even run silent hunter 3 without lagging. SO I Have this Sexbox right, just to give me some gaming until I have saved enough for an upgrade. PLEASE DON'T FLOG ME!

Space crusade is what you are thinking of. It was the original space hulk before terminators were used and you just had plain old space marines. I had it on the amstrad 464 and later on some old IBM that we had stolen from my mums work and were abusing it's msdos promt. I actually picked it up on a CD rom believe it or not, it was on the rack for £5 in electronics boutique (aka game) HOLY SHIT I JUST HAD A FLASHBACK!! I bought that CD the same day I bought TFTD on white label, JESUS THE THINGS I REMEMBER SOMETIMES. Space crusade was pretty cool except it was all about the roll of the dice. Roll to attack, roll to defend. Well that's how I remember it.

Space hulk!!! I had the FPS on ps1, very easy game to finish. You know I think a warhammer 40k RPG fallout style game would be cool. Don't get me strated on "space marine" that came out last few years back. (gears of war with space marines) As a warhammer 40k x-fan I kinda love the universe.

I'm also guessing that this will improve loading times in-game right?

Hmmm tempted to give the client version another whirl some time, but when I tried DLing it on saturday night it got to 98% of the install and decided it had had enough and stopped. And I didn't want to spend another 3 hours downloading and installing it while desura attacked my poor little CPU

Ah yes I just made a post about this myself, same as really I was in north africa on the desert map. I can replicate it easy. Just drive the tank into the corner and let it be destroyed lol. Plasma rifle was the offender I believe.

This occurs on the desert compound map (is it called middle east??) I can replicate it by allowing the APC to be destroyed by the aliens. After the turn is handed back to me it crashes to desktop.

Sounds interesting to say the least. If GH don't come up with it i'm gussing it could be a fairly easy mod to create if you got the "knowin" (mad max 3 reference LOL)

It is do able if you leave the 2nd wave settings alone.. As I said the hard bit is the first few missions against the sectoids. Once you get a few dudes feeling better about themselves you might survive a bit.

Some local forces have pistols etc. I also had a mission where the alieums were tucked away inside the ship. BTW where bouts do I tweek the increased spawn thingys??

I noticed on the news page of xeno-doo-daa's it says this; I'm a bit curious as to why I am still clocking 130k. Is this because I am using the standalone version?? Also in the build 17.52 update thread it says that both versions have been squished down to 3.somethingGb and I am still up to over 4Gb? Am I missing a vital bit of info that explains everything???

Oooh i'm gonna do a lets read on youtube. Story time with thelog..... BTW can anyone tell me who the main admin dude around here is. On most other V bulletin forums you can change your username once a week but this one doesn't seem to have the option. My username on every other forum is thelog and always has been, so only Lord Khikubuku knows why I choose my username as djlogue.

I used to do some programming.... back on my amstrad 464. I used to spend hours bashing out hundreds of lines of code they would give you for free in amstrad action magazine. (there would nearly always be a syntax error or 2 thrown in the sme way that old mechano sets used to in order to make you use your head a little bit) I actually have a 464 emulator and started writing out space invaders that I found on the wikki but it had 6 errors and I didn't have a clue how to fix 5 of them

Ok the launcher runs but all I get it the first frame flicker off and then nothing (I'm assuming the video is ment to play on that window) Launcher Comp Anim Small.avi works and looks good movie.AVI wont run on this puter (presumably because I removed allot of programs recently including my movie watching codecy type players )
