[V12 BATTLE GROUND] Shooting aliens crashes do Desktop

It happened when i came across the alien almost inside ship i had a shotgun. In the target it said 0%. I think this should be 0 por cent chance of hiting? altough i was very close and seemed to have perfect shot opportunity. so it ried to shoot anyway and it crashed!

Hello, please look at the V12 Master Bug Thread.

It's a known issue with a solution to at least avoid the crash. Also try applying the fix stated in the thread.

I have had this issue as well.

Two crashes but haven't noticed if it corrupts data files yet. (hadn't saved)

First was the second mission into a game, and the second kill on the mission. Tank took an auto shot and the sound made that it had hit an alien then CTD.

Second crash was in the first mission of a game. The mission started randomly without flying troops or shooting down anything. Was on the farm tileset though.
