Anarch
...inside dropship when mission is aborted. They need to be dropped beforehand. Not sure if intended.

Gauddlike
Are you sure you haven't responded to the wrong post kabill? TU shouldn't have any effect on if the soldier is classed as inside the dropship or not.
kabill
Yes, sorry. I was supposed to post in the other similarly titled thread. Oops! EDIT: Ugh, not even similar titles. The topic's kind of similar, though. Edited May 18, 2014 by kabill
FlyingShisno
Does carrying the soldier when the mission ends do anything? I've never thought of trying it.
kabill
If they were unconscious and you need to abort the mission, it might? I can't imagine it coming up often, though.
legit1337
Dropping them doesn't take that many TUs. I hardly see this as an issue, unless you are a new player who doesn't know any better. Yea it is counter-intuitive, but the time it would take to code a system that recognizes unconscious soldiers in live soldier's inventories inside the chinook wouldn't be worth it when the in-game solution costs you a few TUs more, and the situation rarely arises (once every few playthroughs). It was like this in the OG as well if I remember correctly. Edited May 19, 2014 by legit1337
