nightsky
Hi, I am on the current experimental branch and ended up with a savegame that gets stuck while loading. Any interest in that? Best regards, Sven
kabill
Going to tack onto this thread rather than another one. I've got a save file from 21.5 Ex which locks up when loading. It's a GC mission, not sure what type of UFO (a Medium UFO is all I can remember). The load bar gets almost to the end, then stops. Minimising Xenonauts indicates that the game has crashed. Here's the file, in case it is useful: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32960771/Test.sav P.S. If you can get it to work, it's set up to demonstrate the alien reaction fire bug I posted about elsewhere!
Asmodean
I have seen this quite a bit. I will admit I don't like loosing soldiers so i do tend to save and load alot. It has happened to me a few times now that the load gets stuck as described above. The map doesn't matter, it happens on various maps, and I have always been able to go back to an earlier save from the same ground battle and the load was fine. Lidhuin
I am having the same issue as kabill. Sadly, I don't remember what UFO type I was attacking. It's particularly troublesome for Ironman though.
StellarRat
If you have auto updates set in Steam, your game may updated itself to 21 E 6. So a save could be invalid now. Just a possibly to consider.
Lidhuin
Oh, so it did. Well, at least there's always an obvious answer to my problems
