shinobi
So I was just wondering, the Electroshock Grenade is meant to work on both organic and Inorganic aliens? I've never been able to stun any of the robo aliens and also I've only ever been able to stun a Ceasan Commander never anything else, not sure if its a bug or they are purposely immune for now? got 6 nade hits on a Sebillian commander in one turn, he was still alive and ran off. also just a thought, when you have an alien you want to capture, there's nothing more stressful than the reaction fire hitting or almost hitting them, do we not think there should be a way to mark that target so they don't get accidentally killed
Max_Caine
Sebillians are deliberately more difficult to stun than other alien types, to reflect how tough they are. Androns and Drones can't be stunned. All non-robotic aliens can be stunned, but some are harder to stun than others. Generally, it will take several electroshock grenades to stun anything above solider rank.
xakthos
Oh so the Androns and drones aren't capture-able? I had thought that given resources I sank into trying but the science blurb mentioned capturing a drone and you learn how to disrupt the electronics off the chain the Androns start so I thought they might be obtainable. Guess I can stop trying now; though I hadn't tried hard for ages there was a mission where I put out some 20 electro grenades trying. Max_Caine
It used to be that you could stun Androns and Drones. That was several versions ago - the Xenopedia text hasn't caught up yet (this may change again, you see.)
thothkins
ah, so it was in there. I thought my memory was playing tricks on me. A few builds ago I did pretty much what xakthos tried, but had to kill the thing before my soldiers were killed.
