Sending 1 ship out to tail a ship and then having 1 or 2 others join it in flight for the attack would be a powerful option, especially early in the game when your radar coverage is relatively small. It would also be great for those times you think you only need 1 ship to kill something and end up fighting something larger than you expected and need more missiles to take it out. maackey Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 I've kinda done this before in 18.0 when I saw my first escorted cruiser. Sent in a squadron of condors, followed by a couple foxtrots shortly after. When you interecept a medium UFO with escort and you go liek an "escort wiper task" killing both escort and the "medium ufo killers" arrives, the ufo has a thirs escort... Blah.
