ladlon
I'm assuming it'll be in the final, but I figured I mention that currently Xenonauts needs some sort of LOADING indication (animated message or animated mouse pointer), so you know things are in fact loading (unless final gamesave/section loads are pretty much instantaneous in the final), and that it hasn't crashed or not noticed you clicked. thothkins
The loading times shoudl reduce for the missions, but no idea of any animation. I'm expecting just a static lading screen with "Loading..." on it.
GizmoGomez
I'd recommend blinking dots, just to see that it's not frozen. Like: "Loading Loading. Loading.. Loading... Loading Loading. Loading.. Loading..." etc. If that makes sense.
thothkins
if it supports it at all, then that's a minimalistic as you could want for it to be effective. then it's onto percentage bars...
GizmoGomez
Yeah, a percentage bar, or even just a percentage without the bar, would be more useful. There should be a constantly moving thing as well, just so that if it's staying at 36% for quite a while, you know it's not frozen, just thinking really hard. GizmoGomez
Aw, stop making my laptop cry. ~There there, it's alright~
Xenomorph
Don't think it matters really, most games have it but it's just a cheat for visual fluff. I find it amusing when games that have that stuff as a bar load before the bar is full, seconds after the bar is full, or what they have spinning wheels that keep spinning even after the game crashed.
