v18.1 Does checking Run in Window work?

Does checking Run in Window work in the launcher work? it doesnt seem to matter what screen resolution I pick it doesnt launch in a window or windowed mode.

Try picking the smallest size and see if that works.

Apparently the 'engine' will ignore the tickbox if you choose a size that is greater than your horizontal or vertical resolution.

When running in the window I find that i go outside of it's boundaries too often, as everyone else that is running on smaller sec window would. Is there a way to make it "full screen" window though? Make it a little quicker and easier when alt-tab into diff screens all the time as I do.

There is no way to have a game window with the size of the screen (game engine limitation).

Windowed mode is quite useless because you keep slipping out of the game's window.

You can play the game windowed if you pick a smaller resolution than your native resolution. It's an engine bug sadly.

My native is 1680x1050 and I have tried all possible choices below that to the same result.

I also have 1680x1050 as native.

I play the game 1600x900 windowed.

The resolution needs to be smaller than your current resolution in both directions.

1600x1024 doesn't work, I have to drop down that extra step.

Maybe the launcher just needs a bit of code added that checks your resolution and prevents the checkbox being checked if the resolution you select is too close to it.
