Ancalacon
Id just want to suggest on making the preorder available from www.GoG.com also as I'd like to support your game too, but not wanting to go through steam or desura to get the game when it comes out. Thank you.
Dowly
I'd be in favor of GoG too.
Jean-Luc
Been tried. GoG people think this game is too expensive for an indie. Apparently there's some arbitrary limit on how much an indie game should cost which is something like 15$. The sooner people, in general, realize that indie games aren't just 8-bit platformers the better. However in a decade or so Xenonauts might be worthy of the "good old game" moniker (and cheaper too) so maybe GoG will pick it up then. But, afaik, Desura will still offer a standalone download post-release so aside from the initial hassle of downloading the game you shouldn't have to put up with it beyond that nor keep the client installed. If the Kickstarter FAQ is to be trusted, Xenonauts will also see a DRM-free release on GamersGate and possibly on the game's website with the Humble Store handling the payments. OK, thanks for the quick reply. I think its time for me to make an account to Desura too then .
