Because in its current state it is, at least in my game, pretty laggy whenever I move around the globe a little too much. It's not a huge issue nor it should be a priority but non-stuttering navigation across the world map would go a long way to a smoother game experience given the amount of time spent on it. Gauddlike Posted September 27, 2012 Share Posted September 27, 2012 The geoscape seems to use a set of highly detailed images to make up the geoscape image. Maybe it needs to either have different quality images for different zoom levels or to somehow draw the image in a less detailed form when you aren't zooming in on your house.
