[V1.65W Stable - Geoscape] Can't Change Save Location/Can't Save

Came back to the game after a while of not playing and I can't create a new save game or change the location to where the game saves.

same thing, didn't play for a few months and now the game can't find old saves nor it saves the new saves... couldn't find an answer to it anywhere, tried everything...

just a long shot... search for C:\Users\Utente\Documents\xenonauts, if it doesn't exist, create it (it could be C:\Users\User\Documents\xenonauts: it depend on the OS language)

I took a break from the game for a few months, but now it's unable to locate my old saves or save new ones. I've scoured for answers without success, and I've tried every solution I could find. Frustrating!
