cjohnc Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 If I am in the game or in the start screen with Exit, New game, Load game, Game options and push Exit or Ctrl-Alt-del, or Alt-Tab I get a black screen. The computer is still working but I have lost control of the computer and the screen. Nothing I do can get me out of this screen other then a hard boot. I removed all mods, 'verify integrity of game cache' , and made sure my drivers are up to date, but nothing works. I can play the game with no problems, just trying to exit locks it up. Quote
Chris Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 That sounds really quite worrying, but I've no idea what might cause that - so both the Exit button and Alt+F4 causes the same issue? The game doesn't return you to windows? Quote
Chris Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Obviously it shouldn't be doing that, but it's not an issue I've heard of before - so it's probably something particular to your system. I've no idea what it might be though, so I'm afraid I really don't know what to suggest. Sorry I can't be more help. Quote
cjohnc Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 I just found out that if I run the game Windowed at a lower resolution then my monitor I can now exit the game without a lockup. Quote
