I hope the grenade issue is fixed soon. It is very frustrating having one of your soldiers behind bales of hay trying to throw a grenade to kill an alien behind another set of bales of hay only to watch the soldier blow up himself and/or destroy his own bales of hay because he could not throw the grenade over the cover he was hiding behind. Upgraded to v8.2 and have the following problems in the Base Screens:- 1)No equipment shown in the stores menu for purchase or use. 2) Nothing shown in the research menu to research ( Steve mentioned that v8.2 contains a basic research tree with basic researchable armour and weapons ) . All my research is "greyed out" 3) Nothing shown in the Manufacture menu to manufacture. 4) Base name shown as "xxxxx Base Base". Does anyone else have these problems or is my game corrupt even though i have verified the files as intact through Desura. Is it possible to un-install the game and then re-install through one's Desura account without jeopardising the pre-order status ? DavidR

I am changing the laptop resolution , not the game resolution. Can the resolution be changed from within the game ? DavidR

How do you play windowed mode - on my laptop in res 1680 x 945 the game covers half the screen , moving to full screen with Alt + enter causes the base facility construction outline to not match up with the base grid lines and words and information at the edges of the screen to disappear. DavidR Silly me - it starts in windowed mode - a senior senile moment there.

On the Base screen I have noticed that the outline for placing a new facility does not line up within the grid lines but instead covers a half each of 2 adjacent squares. DavidR Ok , found the problem - playing on a laptop , tried to enlarge the game screen to fit my laptop screen - at native 1680 x 945 the game only covers less than half the screen. Reduced the resolution to 1280 x 720 to cover more of the screen and observed the non - lining up of the construction outline in the game. Reverted to 1680 x 945 and the construction outline matches up with the base grid.

I have made the premium pre-order from Desura but there is no sign of a key number in any communication regarding the order. . Does anyone else have a unique number with their pre-order? DavidJRuss
