  1. All sounds good to me. I have probably said this before but I am getting excited that things seem to be getting close to finished and I will be able to play through
  2. Yeah I can't figure it out either. The highest I can get is 86%. I recently played through Pillars of Eternity and they have a combat log you can look at and it actually has the equations used to calculate hits/crits/etc. I actually really liked it. Maybe "verbose combat log" could be an option in the menu? Anyways nice update as always

  4. As long as you can set it up and can leave it forever I think it would be fine. If it requires attention like that awful overdrive mode for the generator in Frostpunk, then yeah that would be annoying.
  5. Cool thanks for the update The power mechanic sounds cool to me as well. It could give a few options for people. Working on the base and seeing what I can do to make things work better is a nice strategic touch.
  6. I am a big fan of letting people enjoy the game in the way they enjoy it.
  7. Cool It's always exciting to see a new release and all the good things that are added to the game with them.
  8. Could always make the orbital bombardment an option you can uncheck much like redhook did with corpses in Darkest Dungeon. Then it's up to the player to decide what they enjoy. I don't think you need to worry about balance for anyone who unchecks it.

  10. I also just wanted to mention that I am fine with however long this game takes to make. I am perfectly happy to wait another three years. Or longer. I should have around another 40 years of life or so so sometime between now and 2062 is good with me.
  11. I read this a couple days ago and I think I want to mention that I really can't see liking the UFOs gaining stats depending on how many planes you send at them. As long as I can mod this out I will be fine with it but I can't think of a single game I've played where something like that hasn't decreased my enjoyment of the game. If I can think of an alternative I will write another reply.
  12. I like frame rate limits and I use them whenever they're available. Often times I want to lower CPU temps AKA how hot my room gets.

  15. Best dog food is raw. A balanced raw diet is much better than a bag of cornmeal with vitamins added to it. Not that this bot cares what I write, its cold silicon heart has no concept of the fleshy world.

  18. That all sounds pretty good I am glad the stress system is getting the changes you mentioned. It will make more sense and give players more choice(it may make more sense to retreat to save stress damage)
  19. I remember the one and only blu-ray disc I ever watched. It was a purchased retail one and it had multiple unskippable ads on it. That's just unacceptable. Even a two second ad that is skippable is unacceptable to me.
  20. Hopefully a lot of things like this can be corrected before the game is released.

  22. I think it's a shame that the switch to a 3d engine didn't also come with a redesign of how firing works. If I am playing an FPS game and shoot a gun with a 5 degree cone and there are objects in that cone then the chance that I hit that object is whatever % of the cone is taken up by the object. The % chance I hit the target is whatever amount of the cone is taken up by the target. I really do wish that this game did that instead of the current 0% chance to hit that hay stack that's in the way but 40% chance to hit it if you take one step back.
