  1. Of course, but you need to be able to play it to find those illusive bugs. Also it's does not make for good word-of-mouth recommendation. when all that you can say about the game, when asked, is that you don't know what the game is like because it always crashes or freezes.
  2. Dam it. 5 minutes and locks up on hidden movement. I was on my first farm map too. Dam it.
  3. No rush Chris, give it a good test yourself first. No bad crashy, crashy, make soldier happy, happy.
  4. Okay, bored with Log now. Where is update 9.3? I fancy a bit of Xenonauts action.
  5. Shame about the spiders, it's the first minus I have come across in the game. The spiders on their own would be fine but the poison damage quickly becomes boring. I have no idea what the devs were thinking of. There is hard and then there is stupid.
  6. Hint; There is a secret very, very close before you take your first step.
  7. Wow, this game is great. Anyone else down here in the dungeons with me? If you are just scream.
  8. Roll on tomorrow boys and girls. I am really looking forward to this game.
  9. Unity of command. Another great war game that not only plays well but looks very nice. And there is a Easter sale atm, 33% off. Very much recommended. http://unityofcommand.net/
  10. Panzer Corps is doing very well, and has 5 sets of DLC campaigns released, with more on the way. Does seem a lot to pay out for the full game but if you get enjoyment out of it then it's worth every penny it I think.
  11. I have been playing a few games of Panzer corps, and have to say it's the best war game (old school type) I have played. It's a remake of a game called Panzer general. Anyway there's a demo for anyone that is interested. http://slitherine.com/games/panzer_corps_pc
  12. Selling at a cheap price £5 to £15, usually pays off for good Indie games. Anything more usually gets heavily pirated. Bad indie games usually end up washed up, whatever the price. Notch sold Minecraft at a fiver, later going up to around £8, and he has only raked in 80 Million, he should have sold it for £30 a copy, then, he might have made as much as £300.99p.
  13. I don't care how long it takes Chris, just so long as it's a stable release like the last one. There is no point in rushing a release out that locks up, or crashes within the first 5 minutes, we can't hunt down bugs if there is one bug that rules them all.
  14. Yeah, Dungeon master, chaos strikes back and eye of the beholder. I am locking the doors and unhooking the phone from the 11th April, never to be seen again until I have completed the game.......twice. BTW: when you pre-order you get lots of goodies. Map, manual, wallpapers, art, thyme tune, graph paper, avatars and stuff. I feel it in my bones, this is going to be the best £12 I will spend this year.
  15. So I just dump the levelsetup.xml from assets and I will get other missions, easy as that?
  16. I have played a load of missions now without one crash. I am very happy about this, but the missions I have played are all the same. Scout top left of map, run tank up, kill alien, mission end. Question: Is there just the one mission or more later on in the game? I have found and engaged fighters, but it seems that you can only destroy them.
  17. I think there will be lots of future content for this, as the team is now working on the map editor. As soon as the fans get their hands on that......well.
  18. Great isn't it? To be able to actually play game for the first time is amazing.
  19. It's nearly here, the game a lot of people have been waiting for, including me. I expected them to be asking around £25 for this but no, they ask only for £12 pre-order, £15 on release. I have the sneaky suspicion that it is going to be worth every penny. Buy your copy now, before it goes cold. http://www.gog.com/gamecard/legend_of_grimrock
