How about a prequel.. Title Cowbows Vs Xeno's (spin off of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboys_%26_Aliens_(comics) ) not the movie lol Description I've honestly have been thinking about this along time before i started to play games like xcom or silent storm. Anyway could start off like A xeno space ship hits a meteor shower or something goes wrong in space and they crash on the planet. The ship crashes in fiery wreck somewhere like Texas leaving debris everywhere including xeno tech. I can imagine a local sheriff and some local cowboys go investigate the crash. ( can see this is where you start the game) you can pick up the xeno tec, but do not know how to use it yet (find out by getting in to fights, trying it out getting better with over time?) i have a bunch of ideas like making armor out of the ship that crashed or something to do with the xeno's because you know no body armor back then. Who knows could be a stupid idea with flaws or no point, but i think it would make a good turn based with the right creativity on it.

So i watched this movie on netflix on a whim, turned out to be awesome really felt a connection with the devs and the struggles that they are having. Any way the movie was over and for some reason i watched the credits and what do i find

Haha i must say demo was kinda of blah.. With demo mod, It is totally different the classic difficulty made a huge difference. Didn't try fighting other mobs dont. Im no xcom vet, So what i like and a xcom vet likes might not be the same.

so i just preordered my iphone 5 should becoming 10/28 i have Asurion (Verizon's provider) which is 10.99 per month but i was thinking about going with applecare + for $99. Now the plus side of asurion is that it covers theft and water damage , the bad part is it cost $199 for a new one. On the other hand AC+ cost $99 with a 49.00 deductible but does NOT cover theft, not too sure on water damage i heard yes and no. My question what one is better i know probably a lot of you dont have to put up with big red, but i still get unlimited data and txt So i dont mind them to much

Someone in the other ftl thread said check out endless space got to read the thread this morning. Played ftl all night, cant beat it tho i think i try to farm for scrap to much that and i take the hard paths like the nebulas and mantis. Again thanks for the recommendation. Dont have a problem supporting indie devs.

Yeah it was going well till i got to the alien camping he one bedroom he was also clipping so i was shooting everything except for him. Im going to try again after work i think i another chance because of the clipping. I dont think it needs buffing at at all. Very doable with human tec. Just that one alein destroyed my team

haha ok, sorry if i came off as complaining but was trying to help out. i might have got carried away just happy im able to play again.

For my base i just start using a 2nd base 1 on the Alps and another in North America. i put 3 hangers in the NA base so the intersepters fly in pairs and one for the transport thats as far as i am right now. As for my xenonauts, I use 2 squads each have 1 of each of following 1x support- has heavy machine gun, smoke, flash nades (look for most str.) *also look for high acc as well cause HM is not accurate 1x medic - has m16 with med pack and smoke just in cause (person with the most AP to get to people) 1x sniper- has sniper rifle and smoke grenades if they have good str a flash as well (person with high acc.) 1x explosives- m16 with 2 nades, smoke and flash.

just finshed my first terror mission man o man those aliens are no joke. 2 xeonauts came back home. http://flic.kr/p/dfFyhN The one was clipping with the bed(making him hard to kill) and killed all my guys, but that all right i got him. Now going to make better weapons from his alien tec and use it against his buddys. P.s is there a way to change the glow sticks/ammo to the nades i have in the belt slots seem like its not working or im not doing it right. The only way i found out is to put it in his hand slot.

i have that problem too, but i think they know about some of the clipping and said they have bigger bugs to fix before that. Had a alien shot thru a red van towards the bottom of the map and kill one of my peeps. So i try not to hide behind stuff.

i got some good new it works. Also i think i found a clipping problem that i'll put in the bug section, I think cause it to crash. Thanks Max taking time to help me out. I think it took care of my problem hopefully because it just CTD again, but think is cause of the clipping that was happing.

Hi all I'm new to the forums as well to xenonuats, I pre-ordered the game on thurs i played it for a while think i got to the 17. The next day i tried to play i got to combat did my turn. It crashed on hidden turn, you can hear the aliens move. So tried starting a new game, that didn't work as i soon got into my first combat same thing this time it either freezes or crashes. I posted in the bug thread said to verify files and i did, i even uninstalled got rid of all my saves and started over still no luck. I'm i doing something wrong. Please help me out i would really like to play again.

think they said something is wrong with october

im in the same boat.. i re-installed it, verified files, i deleted all my save files, still no dice
