  1. many eastern block officers might have 'advisor' combat experience. Especially middle east one.
  2. shrapnel range for defensive grenade can be about 200 metres. which is much more than a throw range (thats why you go down immediately after throwing this thing) example - soviet F-1 grenade. modern grenades use plastic hull with premade shrapnels inside, and have range of about 10 - 20 metres. offensive granades have higher load of explosives, but much less fragmantes, reducing its effeective range, but making them safer for attacking troops
  3. i remember that picking up unconcsious aliens in original UFO was a good way to prewent them from waking up and shooting my men in the back. about other bugs: loading a savegame with ufo will move ufo to upper right corner of geoscape regardless of iits position
  4. well, i would agree with drop tanks, would be nice to have ( about parameter degradation: they were called rdrop tanks, cos they were suposed to be jettisoned before combat to prevent that) also adding more slots that could be used for ECM pods or otther E-War equipment would be nice
  5. had a few crashes relating to shooting aliens today. was shooting both sectoid, and the other ones, with m-16 and sniper, the crash seemed to me related to death animation ( it crashed when death anim should occur. on other not, tryong to load savegames made slight before it, crashes game too
