  1. Air combat - make sure its ALWAYS optional. Even commander difficulty always optional. Game balance pass - it is about 3 month late and on top you made no mentions about it for 6th milestone release. Game will need another 2 - 3 balance passes before release, but there is not enough time left. One balance pass takes 1-2 months. That is most pressing issue.
  2. 1. tactic advice : keep free TU on the end of turn so you COULD shoot AI somehow sees your free TU as danger, so it is much more careful to attack you. Then if it does, you can win the encounter. After a while, you get a experience, how interruption EXACTLY works (carefully reading tooltips helps), so you can use the game rules to your advantage. Otherwise speaking do not run like headless chicken. 2. it is war. It means you kill them an they kill you. who stands on the end wins. Thats how it works since first ape used a stick as weapon. Get use to it. It is NOT Holywood war = where 5 gifted super heroes save the world by massacre thousands aliens while one soldier get a flash would on his biceps and second soldier gets broken heart. 3. stop QQuing and turn Iron man ON.
  3. MedKit should be renamed to MediBag it better explains the weight. And it is actually realistic. Here is a showcase how a real MediBag looks like. For Xenonauts It is a load-out of a field medic with a rifle. I quote " My main tool is rifle, We are combat medic, fight first treat after." I do not promote any side of a conflict or an ideology, just watch the equipment.
  4. Are your ideas based on first 100 days as usual ? e.i. not valid for 70 percent of the campaign.
  5. There is a method implemented, where standard move costs 3 TU then move in wheat field costs 4TU. Also nice thing is that path line changes from green to yellow. I like that, we should see this mechanic more often. Now, use the mechanic for snow: Move on snow cost 4 TU while move on the concrete tile paths costs 3 TU. It could creates some nice situations where soldiers would rather use paths. For compensation slow of movement, add one more turn for timed missions which has snow. Especially abduction type.
  6. Hard-point visualisation : Great idea. In the past, there were circulating a good idea to add a saved load-out for an air-plane similar to soldier load-out. So player could quickly re-purpose fighter for the current mission. Can you add it ? I have also noticed that you removed the cursed gray pattern as background of the weapons ! That is Readability improvement I call for ages, continue please, and remove that pattern also from armoury. Well, I would say : when you started ninja-patching practice and stop responding bug reports, then reports started drop off. At least from my side. Postpone Milestone 6 until Air-Combat overhaul arrives is unfortunate. You could noticed, that youtubers use auto-combat in 9 of 10 for a simple reason - not fun. Spend a month for reskin is not worth. To make air combat attractive you would need way more, which is also unfortunate,because main game part The Ground combat offers a big space for improvements. I still believe that make auto combat default (and only choice) is the best choice. Then add an option in a config file, so hardcore gamers could re-enable manual air combat current state. I would not sink more man-hours into it. Rather Focus elsewhere. I was expecting more info on gameplay-balance pass : Soldier count reduction, Colossus buff and numerous recommendation regarding ground combat. What about sounds effects which are now weirdly considered as ambients ? (I dont know if you consider proper impact value of this issue, but current state offers two option for a player : missing sound effects OR accept constant annoying noise) Both options are highly unfortunate ! Can we get milestone 6 with balance pass AND without air combat ASAP ? Can we get an update for these issues ? I am especially curious if my greatest idea of shield on back of colossus (middle age crossbow- pavese archetype) make it to the game. Thanks

  8. it was a bug, and now it is fixed. You have to stand to get higher position to shot over the kneeling soldier.
  9. I dont use MARS personally (too expensive and no xp gain), also youtubers I fallow usually dont use MARS, but someone tried. Pay attention to the face cam === > Highly valuable feedback for you developers ! It looks that MARS received similar weird miss mechanic as Grenade luncher. Therfore I am going to add MARS rocket weirdness to the same collection. I think it is the same root-cause. I hope you can fix MARS AND Gr. luncher for Milestone 6.
  10. Camera should fallow the action, but if player make any "camera_movement_input" then "camera_following_action" feature if switched off. Then it stays off until a brand new action is activated. Like a new unit movement or a new shot fired, etc. Do I say it right ?
  11. I have made a bunch of these posts or even topics. The issue which made a player to make a false report bug is : the text on top of screen is not visible (font has no self set background and natural background is sky = font and background are almost same colour, especially when your eyes are tired or you play on notebook) AND small font is used AND there is no change of mouse pointer type ( you could re-use a hand mouse pointer for interaction to hack computers) AND there is no sound. All this combined lead to a situation that player stare at screen waiting what will happen. The selection highlighting a region could also help abit but it is too expensive in manday / performance ratio. Edit : You think that user do not see regions. vs User do not know that he should select the region.

  13. Readability various texts is an issuee across the game. Either missing background for the text (this case, when gray text is on the blue sky) or wide spread plague using a gray background texture for gray text (or icon), or using a red background for red text, etc. I am highlighting this issue continuously but with zero response from dev team. Similar issue (cursed gray texture) lowering readability as background in equipping air weapons, etc. You should really do a readability pass. Thanks

  15. I dont know if you ninja patched the grenade luncher, but I have spotted the most ridiculous misfire ever. It miss so much that it shoot backwards, to hit 4 tiles behind his back. He plays the latest version, about 5.30 +

  17. I tested it again and you are right, it is about 20 tiles. I think that cut it to 15 will do the job. When range is too far it gives too strong guideline, 15 tiles thou gives nice clue - it is just about corner in the shroud. Ability to hear thru the shroud is nice gameplay, keep it please. Thank you for revealing your sorting sfx vs ambient. Well here is player perspective : I use games for relaxation so listen 20 minutes still the same wind noise or alien base humming is getting on my nerves, (not relaxing at all ) so I switch off Music AND Ambient in all games. Expectation is, keep play sounds only related to my actions. If you could change your category or add another slider for "environment sounds" = cars, tubes. The "continuous sounds" which can be switched off-on by player interaction (by destroing a car, or come in range of aoe) Then ambient slider would be reserved for sounds connected to map only, like wind in arctic, birds in jungle etc. It means - Non player changeable continuous sound. That would really improve my experience. (or any sound sensitive person)
  18. 2 months ago, I have reported a bug which was partially fixed a month ago. Then I reported it again. Since then, You probably tried to fix it again, but current behaviour is still not correct. Now, The crouch bonus changes the position in the list of bonuses, when you crouch or stand. FIX : Aim chance AND list of bonuses have to be updated on each change AND remove those which are not valid.
  19. 1. I had my Ambient volume low, well zero. For some reason, you have set the Tube SFX to Ambient slider. I dont think it is correct. Ambient is like independent set of sound for the map. As you say in tooltip : " birdsong in the jungle map". Tube humming should be SFX I belive. Sound connected to object or action, like door opening. Doors opening SFX are correctly connected to SFX slider . 2. your statement that "unit you control has to be within a certain aoe of said tube for the sfx to play" is not correct. Tube is more than 15 tiles hidden in a shroud but I can hear it. Do we know what exactly "certain aoe" means in number ? 3. humming after deactivation was fixed. Thanks
  20. Thats new! Previously the sound was active all the time, so the sound could be used as a clue to find the tube, even the tube was hidden in the shroud. I considered it as an intended clue, rather than bug. See my original report. Surprisingly, Your programmer find out a time budget to refine the feature even more, sadly you didnt announce the change. I will check the new intended behaviour then let you know. Until then this bug report is paused.
  21. 1. You did not respond to the bug report. 2. You made a line in patch notes that you remove sound after deactivation. 3. you removed all sound from tubes, now it is complete silent.
  22. it is deactivated, no action available, I guess. Interaction pointer is confusing. FIX : Deactivated Tube pad do not offer interaction pointer. OR introduce some action like, pick it up to inventory like datastick Screenshot key press did not capture the mouse pointer (the hand) but you can see at least the square.

  24. user_leakinglos__alienbase-26.rar It is saved in the moment when screen shots are taken. As far as I remember, the leakage creep up slowly and gradually, 2-4 turn before I make shot. This manual save, is the only one save left. Other autosaves are auto-preplaced already
