  1. Mostly fine but the LMG before you sent the patch was useless, especially since it hardly ever actually caused suppression, let alone hit anything. Would be an idea to maybe make the LMG 50% of TU so if you're in cover you can actually put down some fire support. One paltry burst that neither hits anything or causes suppression is not what fire support weapons do. Also, the HEVY is even more useless. I know it's meant to clear cover, but not only does it fail spectacularly to do that, it's also wildly inaccurate. Finally, there should be an option to force troops not to take their overwatch shot if there is any chance of blue on blue.

  3. @Max_Caine I tried doing this but it broke the game. When I try loading a saved game it gets to 99% and falls over. UPDATE: No, I had sent the file to the wrong folder. It's working now.
  4. Combat mission, one of my troops got mind-controlled during one of my turns, then on the aliens' turn it said "So and so resisted mind control" and then promptly keeled over. There isn't an output log for me to attach, unfortunately. recording_1.rec
  5. I have researched stun weapons but stun baton doesn't show up in the engineering screen as an option.
  6. I purchased some more soldiers, waited for them to arrive, and when I went into the soldier screen, everyone was set to "General Training" instead of what they were selected to train. I'm not sure it was to do with them arriving on 31st Jan (I think) or the end of month payday what done it. output.log strategy-24.json strategy-23.json
  7. I have alien alloys in the storeroom but they're not showing on the engineering screen.
  8. So, I saved a game (attached) before going to bed last night with the remaining soldiers I had in the soldier tab. When I now try to load the save game, ALL the soldiers are gone. I tried with another autosave game from a few minutes earlier also from the strategy screen but same thing happened. The last save where my soldiers are present is the last combat mission I have; I can complete that mission and they're still there in the soldier list when I'm back in strategy mode. user-1.json
  9. Hang on, a few (but not all) just randomly turned up a couple days (game time) later
  10. So, I've worked out when it happens. The missing soldiers are "in transit" prior to a mission and then disappear as soon as the mission completes.

  12. Hmmm. Well, given they can't hit the broad side of a barn, and if you're lucky enough to get one out doesn't seem to do much damage the LMG is pretty useless. It didn't even suppress very well. It's only slightly less useless than the HEVY.
  13. My first terror mission had a bug where it came up as mission accomplished before I even did anything. It didn't crash the game, it just carried on to the debrief screen where it said there were no aliens were either present or killed, and no civilians were there either.
  14. No. Definitely recharging all of it even after several turns of shooting / grenading them almost to death, and they bounce all the way back up
  15. Yep. After the end of the turn there is a pause where it should go off, and then... No bang and no damage.
  16. It's weird because it doesn't affect all the soldiers equally; some are normal, some only have issues with grenades, and some have major issues with armour and weapons. There doesn't appear to be a correlation let alone an obvious causation that we can say "If xyx then abc happens"
  17. I much preferred the mechanics where you had a flat cost for shooting. Some of the changes have been good, some have spoiled the game for me. I kinda feel that the game is regressing into X1 in 3D.
  18. Observer UFO mission. My second go. I can see the bug but when my troops try to fire at it they get stuck in the shooting position and don't take the shot, and then they become non-responsive. groundcombat-118.json groundcombat-117.json output.log
  19. So, here is a later LMG gunner. Accuracy for the shots given at 43% and not a single one hit
