  3. @daviderr You need to build airplanes (Migs/Foxtrots) that can carry heavy weaponry like avalance torpedo.

  5. Yes that is true, but I have changed my game a little so airplanes are permanently destroyed if lost, no retrieving for me.
  6. yeah your right, but it can be done with 4 foxtrots and 4 f17´s if played perfectly but just one mistake and the hole cardhouse drops, so preferably 6 f17´s to have a little room for errors. Main goal is to not lose foxtrots, they cost resources to replace, f17´s only cost a pocketfull of money. Yeah about being tight on money in the end of the month with 5 bases in beginning sounds somewhat quite familiar.
  7. @PALU Well in your case, you probably dont even need to make a mod since it is just one file. You could just create a new thread called "X-Division UNOFFICIAL fanlore by PALU" and attach the file, so people themselves ( at their own risk ) can download it and replace the existing file with yours, doing it this way should not take much time. Just a idea, and maybe not even a good one, but that is not for me to decide, I just think it is a shame that you stop now when you have written so much already. @Ruthless Reuban Looks like you have discovered the Terrordropship glitch.
  8. @PALU So you are actually going to quit writing these entries? Really, why? Because Charon said he is not going to use it in the future updates ( who no one knows when will come out ) ? So what, that does not mean that other X-Div players wont use it and like it. I just dont understand, because in my mind no person would ever write all this stuff, without finding atleast some enjoyment out of it, especially considering the texts which ( to me ) indikates it has been giving some thought. A shame and unfortunate to say the least. Charon has stated several times that X-Div is finished, but that does not stop me from continuing to make maps. Since the final release I have made a few more maps and fixed all of the existing ones not made by me so they can handle the amount of content X-Div delivers ( no more drones/tanks stuck in walls and buildings, no more spawn infront of kiosk so your vehicle cant move out, unless you destroy it first, etc ). I did this and still do, well knowing it will most likely never be in the official game, it will have to be my own thing on top of X-Div. What I am trying to say is, if you really enjoy writing these entries then you should continue, but the choice is ofcourse always yours.

I probably would change it, but I know the laserminigun is not wrong, all miniguns increase in clipsize from mk1 to mk3 except the division one, which is a good reason for me to suspekt it being wrong I would say. If I wanted it easy, I would just play on easy or worse, use cheats/reloads, but why even bother to play then. No challenge = No fun.
  10. Okay, well since it seems like a mistake I will change it myself, I just wanted to make sure that there wasnt a good explanation for it before I change it.
  11. @Charon I have a question about the division minigun mk3, is there a reason why you only have enough for 2 and half burst before reloading? Why does the ammoclipsize not increase to 400 or 800 like the laser minigun? And also really nice with all the new buttons/tabs, now I just have to get used to it.
  12. Crap, I really miss that option. Those buttons look exactly like the sort buttons, what a tease man. Not fair at all. It is definatly not my fault for assuming something without knowing what it is beforehand, I know that for sure.
  13. Really amazing improvment, and the sort button is back . How about Drakunian instead ? It has his name in it and it sounds slightly better, in my opinion.

  17. Yeah sure you can get unlucky, but the whole first month without a ceasan mission is very unlikely. When I say "played right" I mean capture them dont kill, ceasans are punies, easy to supres and they bring all the stunweapons I could ask for incl. shields. That is what I wantet to point out. What I thought about terrormission in first weeks was, that it should not be winnable theoreticly, but maybe be able to get a few things before retriting, and it would put the player under pressure with one of the regions immidiatly. I agree that the progression is nicely done, it was just a little idea of mine that could be interesting and fun.
  18. It is actually easy enough to get all the laser mk1 and division mk1 + tank ( defender ) before the first terrormission. It is very possible to get all laser mk1 and tank in less than 3 weeks game time if played right. Keep in mind that all enemy units have resistence to something, some have resistence to several things, but that is for the commander to find out, and remember that it is just the first weapon upgrade, dont expect them to be gamechanging but every little bit helps. @Charon Since it is possible to retake regions, how about make terrormission spawn in first month ? That would be pretty cool and fun, or would that be too brutal ?
  19. Look at hotkeys in gameoptions, I believe Q rolls left and E rolls rigth as default , changed mine to use arrowkeys instead. Never use the icon, it chooses random direktion.

  21. No, I dont want the player to use the edges as exsploits. I agree that beauty is secondary to funktioality, if the terrormission goes as usual ( atleast the way I play), there will only be around half of the map left, when the battle is over .
