  1. If I stun an alien in ground combat after storming the UFO then occupy the UFO for 5 turns, the results screen shows aliens as either killed or escaped. This when the guy who stunned the alien then stood watch over it with Auto Reserve and an M-16 in a room with only one exit. What I'm trying to say is, the alien should have been collected live and been available for interrogation.
  2. This bug has remained unresolved in numerous iterations of the game. If I set a reserve on a soldier or Hunter it should stay like that throughout the ground combat. The indicator stays (most of the time) though the only way I can actually ensure that soldier X actually behaves in accordance with the reserve time units is to click on no reserve then re-select snap/auto reserve each and every round. Again, it's a really annoying bug that should have been incredibly simple to solve - set soldier reserve state on click during first round, soldier reserve state remains the same throughout all of the ground combat unless a new event updates the state. Before soldier/unit move, check reserve state and implement that into the route selection. I'm not even a programmer, but I know PHP and the whole process of user input, check, process and system output is not hard. This bug should have been sorted a while back. I don't mean to complain, and in fact love the game and would happily contribute more to see it finished, but when an obvious bug goes ignored for several updates, it does get really annoying.
  3. Also, please can we have the game remember what resolution we want to run the game in? That surely must be a case of one or two lines of code, a prefs file.
  4. Yes. A lot is still completely random. It's alpha software.
  5. Though I don't know if it's related... I experience it when trying to offload some kit/alien tech/alien corpse inside the Chinook.
  6. I have been playing for a while, but I don't seem to be able to research anything other than alien alloys and power source from the first UFO I shoot down. I can't get laser weapons, base defences, stun grenades etc. Basically I'm still stuck with basic weapons and armour and not moving forward. Is this something I'm doing wrong or are these features simply not implemented yet?
  7. Is it possible to have the fog of war not return to complete darkness after a unit leaves? I mean, if you've explored an area but don't have anyone there, can it just be greyed out? For it to be completely dark suggests that you've completely forgot a street you just left.
  8. I have just had a crash caused after two separate squadrons were sent to intercept two separate UFOs. I was viewing the air combat screen for the first squadron when the second squadron (I presume) intercepted its UFO. Suddenly I had two lots of air combat music playing and two lots of missiles being launched etc. Then the geoscape was briefly visible below the air combat screen before a crash to desktop.
  9. I was involved in an air combat with a UFO and my Migs had used up their missiles, so I ordered both to retreat with their afterburners on (I had another squadron of F-17s on the way). The problem was, they were low on fuel anyway, and before they reached the edge of the screen, I got the "Interceptor X is low on fuel and has to return to base" message, so I clicked OK, as that's where I wanted them to go. However, doing so freezes the screen - the aircraft and the UFOs stop moving, the music keeps playing and nothing happens.
