  1. Any word on when the DVDs will be sent out to backers and preorderers?
  2. Was there a stealth update inbetween 1.07 and this 1.07 hotfix? I do remember Steam updating the game on Sunday, without the version number changing. If so, what's been fixed?
  3. Good job, Skitso! This mod should be included in the vanilla game.
  4. Maybe there's a Praetor hiding in your fridge? Sorry for rudely hijacking the bug report, it had remotely to do with Praetors, so I thought maybe I should use it to bring this up once more.
  5. While you're at it, please fix the properties of the Praetors' weapon as well, it's still using an old placeholder sound effect. I've reported this a while back, right here: http://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/forums/showthread.php/10232-Bugs-Issues-in-Xenonauts-V1-0?p=113395#post113395
  6. The "Alien fleet arrives in orbit" bit from the launch trailer would make for a short and sweet intro for the game, maybe with the Xenonauts logo slowly fading in at the end when all of the ships have finished jumping in. It's already done, though of course, I don't know how much work it'd be to implement it. Oh, and voice acting? Contact the real Josh Eales to do it.
  7. Finally experienced this crash for myself. Trying to reproduce it using the savegame from just before (an autosave) failed, but here's the gist of what led up to the crash: - Launched Xenonauts, loaded a save from the very beginning of a ground combat mission (industrial, light scout, caesans; veteran difficulty) - Completed the mission (playtime ~30 min, lost 3 men due to unexpectedly clever AI and bad luck) - Back on the Geoscape, re-loaded the same savegame from before, replayed the mission (again, ~30 min playtime, lost 1 man to tactical blunders, acceptable loss) - Returning to the Geoscape, immediatly ordered 1 replacement soldier, then accelerated time til Charlie was home - Tried going to Soldier Equipment screen, CTD No friendly fire during the ground combat, but several 'nauts had to be healed from bleeding wounds. No intermittent saves (except autosaves). v1.03, Steam version (though launched outside Steam), no mods installed.
  8. Speaking of logos, some of your promotional assets call the game a "simulation", while others say it's a "simulator". I know these basically mean the same thing (don't they?), but maybe you should decide to use one term exclusively.
  9. For the "Deep Tactical Combat" part, I would've shown some guys with combat shields advancing into a breach, throwing flashbangs to suppress aliens instead of some Predator-clad rambo hosing down Harridans with his Magstorm outside the local 7-11. I like the beginning, though. "It was an average tuesday in orbit. Suddenly, ALIEN INVASION FLEET!" *zoop* *zoo-zoozoozoo-zoop* ... *zoop*
  10. It's happening with other Jackal/Laser weapon combinations as well; I've seen it with both the Precision Laser and Laser Carbine, usually when the unit hasn't moved since the previous turn.
  11. Fair enough, what about this one, then? http://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/forums/showthread.php/10232-Bugs-Issues-in-Xenonauts-V1-0?p=113395&viewfull=1#post113395 Not a UI quirk, but it's bothering me that nobody seems to have noticed it.
  12. Do you think you'll get around to fix some, if not all, of the smaller UI annoyances before release? While they obviously don't break any games, they might leave a bad impression with new players and reviewers alike.
  13. Duh, of course. I completely forgot about that, maybe it's because I've never played a game long enough for one to occur. The missing "Zoom Out" hotkey/key binding is a valid issue, though.
