I have researched ONLY: Alienium, Alien alloys, and alien alloy manufacture. But cannot manufacture anything.. no items are showing on the manufacture list. I might not have researched all items in the tree but it seems weird that I research manufacture, then cant, is the tree available to check against? *(I have seen various other cannot manufacture bug reports but nothing goes in to detail about what they have done and what they cant do! bit frustrating..) P. can provide save if it would help.

The only way this new xcom will work for me if is it were an exact remake of UFO Enemy unknown.. with new graphics, but same story, tech and aliens, and mars...... Then phase two.. more aliens.. more tech.. and more planets.. I can dream. Until then xenonauts!

That sounds very much like a "it's never going to happen." is it totally ruled out? it'd be a shame not to have something that was in the originals.

Hello, I'm Mike from Nottingham (UK), Been a fan of Xcom since my uni days in 1995.. I mainly played UFO: Enemy Unknown & later Apocalypse. I think the original is still the best! maybe xenonauts might take the crown if it keeps going the way it is at present, So keep up the good work! Occasionally I still play UFO via Dosbox on my PC.. and have even put dosbox on my Android Tablet especially to get xcom on there keep up the good work!

Yes and No... Yes, the one centre tile would fall.. but after nine damaging blasts why not have some instability nearby! (with 3x3 only one tile falls from above, the second floor above that still has 8/9 supports) No, I wouldn't mind that... it's no worse than the original. I think it's been decided that any collapse method is better than none at all. In my opinion there's nothing wrong with quirky physics! it pays homage to the original floating buildings after all, its just a small improvement.. maybe try simple see and how it goes this is alpha testing afterall. ^ yes this would be really good! perhaps it could grey out (or change borders on) the soldier portraits also. Maybe instead of left & right selection buttons, Have [finished with] and [go to the next unused soldier] buttons.. ^I'm not so sure about turning but I do like to reduce my target size by kneeling, having a reserve for kneel (4ap?) would be very useful! Maybe there is some scope in the user config settings for how complex the slider could be.. One more thing.. How do you control the ascent descent of flying armour? iirc the original xcoms had move up & down buttons along with kneel/stand (I am assuming that flying will be possible..) P.

Why not just have a topple down effect if there is no building floor or building wall in the 9 squares below then the floor/wall above collapses.. yes you could remove all the walls and leave the floor and the building would stay up, but any explosion would damage the floor and cause a collapse. You would have to identify internal floors (load bearing) from external floors, and where you need a bridge effect you'd have to use special load bearing external floors. (sorry if this has been said, I skipped a few posts) P.
