poguedonkey
Hi All This happens when I load the game. I'm running 2 x 760 GTs in SLI with 2 1920 x 1080 monitors. The game is running on only one screen. Otherwise my computer is a fairly standard i74960k, 16gb ram, few solid state drives and all the usual accessories. Anyone got any suggestions to fix this? I've re-installed the game and updated my drivers but no dice. Cheers Donk

Chris
It looks like your main menu background image and your strings.xml are screwed up. Is this on Steam?
poguedonkey
Hi Chris Yes it is on steam. I've deleted the local files and re-installed, but no change. Works perfectly on my macbook pro (which is the version I'd expect to have problems!). Regards
poguedonkey
Oh and it continues into gameplay - so that it won't display anything other than ## for hit probability etc. It will however display TUs remaining. It's like its lost the font or something.
Chris
Yeah, that's really strange. Maybe try moving it to your C:/ if you can? I honestly don't really know what to suggest other than that, because #### is displayed when the game is missing a text string - all of which are loaded from /assets/strings.xml. If that file is present in your local game files the game should be able to display text fine and I've no idea why it would not be doing so in this instance....
