This was brought up a couple of times during development but it was considered to be a considerable expense for a severely limited-use item (only useful on industrial maps, and then only for a relatively small portion of those maps). Thanks for letting me know that I can open windows with a melee attack. Though, even more than opening them, I would love to be able to close them. When they're all open, my Xenonauts are potential sitting ducks whenever they're inside buildings. Though I understand that that would also require the AI to know how to open and close them as well. This isn't really an issue with glass windows - they can be seen through all the time, and I don't mind smashing them to be able to vault through then. But, there are those windows in the middle east tileset or whatever it's called, that have those wooden covers over them - some are open, some are closed, and it would be nice if you could close them.
