kahvipannu
We are talking about props tought, pretty static things. Swaying leaves and such shouldn't necessary need animation skills (Or am I missing something obvious?), but more like picture editing. Biggest challenge there would be making it look good I think, not too busy and distracting, but naturall instead obnoxious with all the grass and such waving in the screen. Game_tester
To be clear, development on Xenonauts has finished and Goldhawk will not be adding any new animations. The modding section of the board is for fans who would like to create their own content, not for asking developers to create new content. Xenonauts animations pack kickstarter project ... what you say ? new official add-on to game, with new budget ... why not ? Chris, you have the necessary technical capabilities for massive render of many png sprites ... if it will make fans without experience and equipment it will take years to build ! ======
Game_tester
Game_tester - how about instead of trying to suggest a kickstarter you actually create such animations yourself? 1. I do not have the equipment(professional render stations) and experience in animation 2. I have no rights to use that gaming brand for commercial purposes _____
Ragnarok
Scap this idea. If you want something done, use your own time to learn what kind of work you need to do. This mindset of kickstarting is pissing me off, even if, each once in a while, a good game comes about.
Chris
No, we don't want to do any more animations for the game. Development is finished now. Money is not the problem so a Kickstarter would not help.

Game_tester
IDEA - Аdd to the game animatedtrees, palms, shrubs, tall grass ..? ====== How about greater diversity in the animation of smoke and fire ? (more types of animation) -- another idea - add chunks of flying debris, dust, sand ... (wind simulation) it will add "liveliness" to picture .. *Possible some flags...(or other cloth) - twine on the wind ... ====== and of course the hardest part - idle animation for - (dream) 1.) solders with all type of armor & weapon... (as in ja2 game) 2.) for aliens of course .... 3.) for civilians at the end .... == p.s. may be open kickstarter project ? plans for 5k to 50k$ .... (for example) ________ any news ? fall19
news from who ?You are the one that started the thing . Just give it up. Its not gonna happen, the only way this is going to happen is if you learn and do them yourself or you pay someone else to do it
