[V12] aircraft equipment - dropship - doesn't allow placement of positions

the aircraft equipment screen for the chinook allowed you to place your troopers positions in the dropship in v10, doesn't work in v12.

tried dragging the green icons, tried dragging from the panel at the bottom onto the chinook grid... couldn't get it to work

Works fine for me.

I can move the troops around into blank spaces, drop them onto each other to swap positions and move the vehicle.

This is all directly after loading a new game.

Had you changed anything else around before you had this problem?

it was a fair way into a game, but the first time I had visited the screen since getting v12. Was going to move my 3 mg troopers to the door access points...

I've had the same thing happen to me a few times. Have you checked the chinooks fuel because I don't think you can change troop positions unless it's at fully fueled.

Good call I had forgotten about that.

If an aircraft is not ready to launch then you can't adjust its weapons or crew positions.

I am guessing that when you visited the aircraft screen to adjust crew you had recently returned from an interception maybe?

ah, that could have been it... can't remember if it had just got back from a mission or not.
