I click engage then it goes to loading screen and crashes. I have tried to fastforward for a period of time and try again but it keeps doing it every time. Here is the report.... Cyt Posted November 26, 2013 Share Posted November 26, 2013 I'm running build 19 stable and I just ran into the same problem myself. After downing the UFOs and sending my team in, the game crashes during the map loading. Every time. I tried different UFOs, maps, locations, soldier/vehicle combos, weapon/equipment/armor setups... pretty much everything I could think of and I still can't get into combat. It's a game breaker since I can't continue playing the game without the ground combat segment. Is there at least a workaround if not a fix for this bug? First try validating your installation (if on steam) if that doesn't work reinsttall the game. If that doesn't work then I ahve no idea what to do. ivra Posted November 26, 2013 Share Posted November 26, 2013 Maybe it is internet-related? On the launch game menu, try to select Disable Stat Tracking before you launch the game. Does that help? This option has confusedd people earlier soto clarrify you need to make sure that the box is checked to disable the stat tracking and improve performance.
