1. Yes. Both according to the source file researches.xml and I have experienced it. There was a bug some time ago that prevented MAG weapons from appearing in the lab as a research project. Are you sure you have the latest version and that you have researched all 5 weapons, for a grand total of 7 alien weapons?
2. I am sorry. I have no idea what is happening. Does anybody know?
3. The following pdf-file contains the following lists: Items Aircrafts Aircraft Weapons Armours Vehicles Vehicle Weapons All lists include the construction cost and the prerequisite technology. (I had to zip the file to be able to upload it) Items.zip Items.zip
4. Glad some of you liked it. You're welcome I have also created a thread with lists of the items in the game.
5. Strange. There should be a single pdf-file within the zip-file. It has the same name as the zip-file. Have you tried to save the zip-file on your computer and then unpacked it? If you have Vista or newer you should be able to unpack it using the Explorer. Just copy the pdf-file to another directory.
6. Ok, to be clear: The zip-file contains a pdf-file with the 5 pages that are shown in the first post. You can use it to see what you need to do to get to a specific technology.
7. Here is a research tree for Xenonauts. Here is a preview: Research Tree.zip Research Tree.zip
8. I remember reading about this bug, but this is the first time I have encountered it myself. I have attached a save game in case it makes it easier to hunt it down. After loading the game you will see two alien icons, but only one of the two wraiths are visible. During the last alien turn both teleported to their current position. The invisible wraith is on top of a rock at third level. If can be targeted and killed by using force fire. F01.zip F01.zip
9. The tooltip of the shock baton is missing. It only says it is a shock baton. It should specify that it does 5 Energy damage, 60 Stun damage, 75 EMP damage, has 12 charges, costs 20% TU to use with an accuracy of 80%; if I have interpreted the xml file correctly.
10. The tooltip of the assault shield says it has 80 HP (the same as the regular shield), while when equipped it says it has 160 HP.
11. I met a hero today. My team was clearing out the area around a landed UFO when we heard several shotgun shots. As we closed in on the sound it happened again. Several more shotgun shots were fired. Finally, we arrived and what we saw was incredible. On the ground were two reaper corpses. A short distance from them was a crouched sebillian soldier trembling with fear. In the middle of the scene was a farmer with at shotgun. He had singlehanded taken out the two reapers while keeping the sebillian in check.
12. I am able to run in windowed mode, but not if I select full resolution. Then it always start in full screen. Try some of the smaller resolution. Does it start in windowed mode then?
13. This is just to notify you that the soldier equipment crash is still in the game, unfortunately. I have had two crashes when clicking on the Soldier Equipment Screen after a ground combat. It seems even harder to specify what is causing it now than before. Now it seems to be at random. In both my crashes I did not get a wounded soldier, and therefore did not use the medikit. I save every turn, and I think I loaded the game during ground combat in both of these two crashes. Not sure about this, but I might have had a soldier wounded or killed in both of these battles, and then reloaded the game to try again. I also noted that after the battle some soldiers was promoted and some got a boost to their health. Maybe that is a factor? On the other hand I am pretty sure I have had soldiers gaining ranks and health before without causing the game to crash. As before, loading the game during the ground combat will not reproduce the crash. I have a very general and vague idea of what might be the cause of this crash. I still think it is related to saving and loading the game during ground combat. Can it be that the state of the game is not properly restored in some situations when loading the game during ground combat? But when restarting the game and loading a game in geoscape the state of the game is properly set. Just a thought.

15. Load the attached save game and answer Engage to start the ground combat. The game crashes. Note: There is a fighter (UFO-04) heading for Charlie-01. They both seem to arrive at Crashsite-02 at the same time. Maybe that is why the game crashes. M03.sav M03.sav
16. Thanks. I see. I thought both firing and reloading used % TU cost.
17. In the attached save game, Masao Nakano is unable to reload a rocket even if she has not used any TU. She started out a bit encumbered with only 34 of her 36 TU available to her. Fo2.sav Fo2.sav
18. This is the same bug as reported here. I have written a step by step procedure of how to create it. And you are right, the ammo does not matter. It is the coming home from a mission that matters. http://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/forums/showthread.php/9243-V21-Stable-Candidate-Bug-Exploit-Copying-items
19. I managed to get it to crash yet again. I think I have forgotten to tell about something I do every time I get a wounded soldier. I heal it with a med kit. Did you do that in your tests? Also with the different crash pattern mentioned above, I think I forgot to load the game in that ground combat mission. I have become fairly certain that the game can be forced to crash by doing the following: 1) Play a ground combat mission and save the game in the same file each turn. 2) Let the alien wound one of your soldiers. 3) Heal the soldier with a med kit. 4) Make sure to save the game after this. 5) Load the game after you move at least one soldier. 6) Complete the mission. 7) Save the game in another file. 8) Click on the Barracks button. 9) Click on the Soldier Equip button. Some of these steps might not be necessary to get the game to crash, but I have included them here because I am not sure which ones can be omitted which ones are required. Using this procedure I have been able to get the game to crash all of the 3 time I have been aware of using it.
20. I played a ground combat mission properly the first time and saved right before the end. Then I replayed it and got one wounded and one killed. I expected to get a crash after the battle was over, but I did not. I then loaded the save from the properly played mission and completed it. Immediately after the battle I clicked on Soldier Equipment and then the game crashed. Restarting the game seems to reset everything since I have never been able to get the crash when loading a game in ground combat and then completing it. I have to play a full ground combat mission using save and load and getting some wounded soldiers. I will try to pinpoint it further, but I am beginning to see a pattern here.
21. Unfortunately, I don't have the save before that mission any more. But I will try again to get it to appear and keep the save game from before the mission started. I can then try to rerun the same mission to see if I can get it to crash regularly.
22. The save game from the ground combat mentioned above, caused another bug that I have seen reported earlier. The one where the buttons are dead. I do not know it this happens for every ground combat save or if this one is special, or if it is related to the crash somehow. Anyway follow these steps to get dead buttons: 1) Start Xenonauts 2) Load F01 and complete the battle. 3) Try to click on any of the buttons. They are all dead. 4) Press ESC (ESC works) and load a game in geoscape mode. 5) Repeat step 2. Now the game is back to normal. F01.sav F01.sav
23. I managed to get the game to crash again. What I did was the following: Fought a ground combat where I saved the game in the beginning of each turn. Two of my soldiers were injured. I loaded the game at least once during the ground combat, but after my soldiers were wounded. After the ground combat I saved the game (in another file), waited until the dropship returned home, clicked on Barracks and then immediately on Soldier Equipment. The game crashed. My guess is that it has to do with both wounded soldiers and saving and loading. The interesting thing is that restarting the game and loading the ground combat save does not produce the crash. It seems that the entire ground combat must be done in one go. Hope this helps.
24. Another similarity when the game crashed was that I took some damage in both of those ground combats. Maybe that is the reason.
25. I think the crash has to do with saving and loading while playing the ground combat mission. I experienced this crash twice now. Both times it was after a ground combat mission. The only thing I did after the combat was to save the game, run until the dropship returned, click on Barracks, and then click on Soldier Equipment. Then the game crashed. In both of these ground combat missions I loaded the game (a guy died, or I did something stupid). Earlier I had played for a while without experiencing the crash. As far as I know I did not load during those ground combats. I tried to find a way to recreate this crash and loaded a ground combat mission after I restarted the game. Then I did the same as before, but it did not crash. I'll investigate further.
