[19.5 Ground Combat] Reaction fire kills creating poltergeists?

Note: I'm using lightgemini's update of Aaron's accuracy mod. I doubt that's the cause, but I guess it bears mentioning.

I killed a sebillian guard with reaction fire, and he took it badly. Click on the image for a larger picture.

The selected unit can target his spirit. The selected unit's unable to move through that square, and also the square with his corpse on: if I want to enter the outpost, I have to go in through the snowcat bay on the right side of the screenshot or the breach on the left.

The sebillian's definately dead, the mission ended as normal upon the last alien's death.

I do have a save, but upon loading, the issue's resolved, so I don't think it's any use?
