Chris Posted July 5, 2023 Share Posted July 5, 2023 This is another small patch for Milestone 1, which does not break saves. Changelog: Added a second map for the Cleaner Cell mission. Also added 1 more unit to those maps as they felt a bit sparse. Base Structure Complete notification now appropriately splits out the building list if the completed buildings are in two different bases. Added a new section to the Geoscape tutorial that explains what the anomalies are (i.e. the things that UFOs spawn as they fly around). There's now a brief character conversation that plays the first time you see an Abduction Tube in combat, which tells the player they need to open it. Fixed a few small visual issues in the UI, including the engineer's chat bubble sometimes being too small for the text. Tree clumps are now a bit less tough, requiring 2 Demolition Charges to destroy rather than 3. A bit more optimisation for switching screens. Fixed an error where base stores would throw errors for being overcapacity when they actually were not. Fixed a bug where sometimes the engineering queue wouldn't correctly reorder / would appear to reset its ordering after having left the screen. Fixed an issue where pressing Esc would break the game if pressed when the "Are you sure you want to keep these changes?" notification that appears after changing visual settings was present.
