Milestone 1.12 Experimental Released! (Closed Beta)

This is another small patch for Milestone 1, which does not break saves.

Changelog:

  • Fighter UFO now has a separate appearance to the Interceptor UFO, both in combat and in the research reports.
  • Added artwork for the Actuator Module.
  • Jungle maps now have much denser vegetation and more constricted sight lines.
  • Added another Alien Base map to the game.
  • If your aircraft are forced into combat by enemy Fighter UFOs on an air superiority mission, the non-deployable area (i.e. most of the combat map) is no longer tinted red.
  • The "enemy reinforcements have arrived" character conversation will now trigger on both Cleaner Cell missions, not just the first you fight.
  • Further updates to some of the translations.
  • Fixed a bug where aircraft would sometimes not repair their armour after taking damage.
  • Fixed a bug where changes to the visual settings were not applied until you restarted the game, which was triggered as soon as you entered the Geoscape.
  • Fixed a number of maps set up to not be tagged correctly, which perhaps led to them being repeated more often than they should.
  • Fixed the game autosaving immediately after you clicked the "Begin Mission" button during the deployment phase of an Alien / Xenonaut Base mission, as it looked like the game had momentarily locked up.
  • Made the victory effects for the Cleaner Base mission a bit more obvious.
  • Updated the styling for the red and green victory / loss effect text to be less satured. Also did the same for the various strategy statbars.
