Hmmm. That's actually more concerning to me than the original bug, because unless you check the "Randomise Seed" button when you load the save the game should always play out the same way as it did originally.

It's set up that way specifically to make it easier to reproduce bugs that happen in the alien turn. You weren't using the Randomise Seed button, were you? If not we'll have to take a look at that too.
