Flo Posted January 19, 2023 Share Posted January 19, 2023 (edited) The speed of passing time in Geoscape feels only marginal different between 2nd and 3rd setting, but there is a huge jump from 3 to 4. Actually 4 is good for passing whole days until the next interruption, 1 is like pause, 2 and 3 for watching your aircraft go places (2 is obsolete in my eyes). I miss another fast setting that is maybe about 1/4 of the actual fastest, that let's you pass time quickly but still keep the feeling of having control. Chris Posted January 25, 2023 Share Posted January 25, 2023 Hmmm. So the speeds are currently 1 real world second equals 5 sec / 2.30 min / 5 min / 100 min. So yeah, I think you're right that speeds 2 and 3 are way too similar. I've updated speed 2 to be 5 min and speed 3 to be 20 min and I think that feels much better, but you can give it a test when the next update comes out and decide for yourself.
