Buzzles Posted April 29, 2012 Share Posted April 29, 2012 (edited) During an interception if you start playing around with the speeds using the slider, your craft will never go it's normal top speed again. For instance with F17 if you don't mess with slider the F17 will go at 2000 km/h. Afterburner (AB) will put it up to 3000 km/h and turning off AB sets it back to 2k km/h. After messing with slider, the non AB max speed becomes 1626 km/h. AB will put it back up to 3k but turning it off will put it back to 1626 km/h. Same happens for the MIG, just different speeds. This might be a scaling issue though, so for reference I'm running at 1280x1024 at 5:4. The sliders also don't go all the way to the bottom, they stop at about a quarter of the way there. Is this intended (ie, a nod to stall mechanics?)? Edit: As a bonus feature, there's also an issue with the autocannon hitting UFO's. Each shot no longer causes fighters to flash like it did before.
